Thriving!
OK, I've got these in September 2021 so my report is solid.I ordered 10 runners but got 13. Lucky me.Now I do agree with some other customers that the packaging could have been better handled. All runners came in a brown envelope through Royal Mail, stuck through the pigeon hole. A couple of delicate leaves fell off but that was fine. Where the Seller could possibly try better was probably to pack in bubble wrap to protect the roots. But then this might have deprived the plants of air during transit so I don't know.Anyway I soaked all 13, planted them, and apart from one which was weak from the beginning, 12 began to grow.I must say that being a novice means that I didn't really know how far each bunch of roots should go into the soil, so gradually another 4 died off. I began to worry. But then, the rest of the eight plants had mercy on me and began to thrive (see my photos). One has even given me a flower in early October! That, is a real treat. Now I know all 8 runners are well established and I think they will be strong by next summer when they are supposed to bear fruits.Very happy indeed with my planting experience.Reader, you should have some (inexpensive) fun with them, too! :)UPDATE March 2022My plants have survived the winter! I covered them most of the time under an organza-type material (which I got from the flea market). A few weeks ago, I even just cut through the stronger plants vertically to divide and make more! So far so good, though every plant is still learning to wake up to the spring. No flowers nor fruits yet at this date, naturally.

Fruit all year round
Fruit all year round, still producing fruit as of 19/11/24. had these nearly two years now so feel qualified to review. Great plants, sweet and succulent, golf ball size sometimes bigger. Produce good runners for potting on.

Dont worry how they look when you get them
Arrived on time, opened the packet and of I hadn't been forewarned on here about the state they would be in I would have been shocked at how they looked. However, they had a really strong root system so I soaked them for a day and a half and then planted out. I have say they are coming on very well and have doubled in size in less than a week. I have high Hope's for these will report on flavour when we get some

7/13
Initial Review:Ordered 10, received 13 though 6 looked quite lifeless when they arrived. I soaked the bare roots before planting on the same day they arrived. Only 7 have shown signs of life and growth, so the 6 that looked dead were. I’ve tried to give them (the 6) some time (1 month) and still nothing. Disappointing start but I will update about the growth, whether and how well they fruit over time.

Be patient - these are worth the wait
I'm glad I read the product information and reviews before I opened the packaging, because otherwise I would have thought that I'd been sent a bunch of near-dead roots. I ordered a 5-pack of these on 20 May, received them on 26 May (well before their due date of 9 June) and left them to soak for at least 12 hours. The following day they went into individual 10cm terracotta pots, where they have stayed ever since. They seemed to spring to life - they were standing upright a day later, and taller with new leaves the day after that. I noticed flowers had appeared on 14 June, strawberries started to form towards the end of the month and I was delighted to see a ripe strawberry on Sunday 12 July - it was very sweet and juicy! I only started gardening this year thanks to the lockdown giving me more time on my hands, and 6 weeks from receipt to having eatable fruits feels great to me. We're not known for prolonged sun here in the UK, so I've been very pleasantly surprised to see fruit grow so quickly. There are more strawberries ripening and some more flowers opened over the weekend, so I'm looking forward to eating what comes from those. I wish I'd ordered more now - I'll certainly buy this variety again and from this seller.
