As a woodturner I am using this product in my workshop to weigh wood turnings (bowls and platters) made from unseasoned (green) wood to monitor drying progress as they season and lose weight. The 15kg limit is higher than on a lot of competitive products and a very useful feature for my usage. The LCD display is crystal clear and I particularly like the fact that the screen is at right angles to (and not part of) the weighing platform so that any items larger than (overlapping) the weighing platform do not obscure the displayed weight. The larger than average weighing platform (25x23cm) is also extremely useful and so far the scales have performed faultlessly. Instructions are also very clear with good diagrams. Make sure that the scales are used on a firm surface (e.g. a table top). I tried using them on a carpet and the scales did not work correctly as the precision sensor pads require a firm substrate to function accurately. This is not a fault. Overall I think that that the scales are an excellent product in every respect

For people who want to do huge and heavy meal preps, this one is the answer.It's everything I want in a digital scale. Big enough for a 12 cupcake tin to be steady, and is able to take on a lot more weight without a worry.Also accurate. I have tried weighing certain items and small boxes with it, compared to my 7+ year old Salter digital scale. The results are the same.But I am always annoyed that it will not immeadiately zero with a heavy tin already of top of the scale. It will only function with nothing on it. Otherwise it refuses to operate. This is the products biggest flaw.Also sensitivity of weight change is not as good sometimes, so I sometimes need to plop back a piece of the food on it to get a new weight reading.Overall though the size and weigh it can take outweighs the cons : )

The scales arrived as promised and seem to be very good quality. I bought them because of their capacity, i.e. 15kg as I need to weigh tile adhesive powder with water to get the right mix and that is important (believe me). While I haven't tested the upper limited of its capacity yet, up till now I have done 5KG and it works well and consistently. Definitely recommend through I'v only had it for a month or so but so far so good.

Love this scale. Dinner plates fit perfectly so you can still read the display. Only annoyance is if you have a plate or jug etc on the scale before you turn it on, the display shows an error so you have to take the plate off, press the display to zero, add the plate, then press for zero again. Bit of a faff if you forget to not put the plate on first. Haven’t experienced this on a scale before. Other then that it’s extremely accurate to the gram and cleans so easily. Stores well too. We have two and we just stack them in a cupboard.

I bought these for my business so didn’t mind the price tag as long as they were good. However, I am heavily disappointed. Firstly they do not have decimal points so you have to round up or down. The scales when sitting on the flat counter go up and down in number even when you aren’t touching them, the legs aren’t properly aligned so it wobbles, and the display shows the hold even when you are adding ingredients into the bowl, it doesn’t recognise that more items were added so you have to touch it for it to realise and then you learn you’ve added too much. Repeat the frustration when trying to get rid of the excess!! VERY upset at the money I’ve wasted, and the annoyance these scales cause me. I do NOT recommend them.

Very light weight but works lovely and a very readable screen.

Been looking for larger scales for weighing laundry and postal items and this works perfectly.Large easy to read display which you can set to remain on for a period after the object has been removed, great for large boxes which hide the display.Seems well put together so hope will last a good while.
