Deli Fresh Pistachio Halva, approx. 1lb wedge or loaf

Great product this is the second time I’m ordering I will continue . I just got a confusion with the delivery door but my product arrived in time for the holidays . Thanks

The product is made EXCELLENT. NO DOUBT. But they ship it wrapped in suran wrap and stuck in a cardboard box. The oil in the product escapes and absorbs in the cardboard. Before you open it, it's obvious as the cardboard displays something absorbed in it.The Product tastes great still, but is dry and crumbly because of the way it is shipped.Unfortunately because it's food, you can't return it. Too bad.I might have to just find another vendor with better shipping practices.

This halva was good, but it seemed a little drier and slightly less sweet than what I am used to. Perhaps a bit more crumbly in texture as well. I enjoyed it, though.

I will modify my review later but for now; I just received it, and although it's a "wedge" as describe, not pictured, it's not 1 lb. It's an ounce less than a pound. For that price I expect exactly what I am getting and then I wonder if they are shipping less than a pound to every customer so they can save money?I would love to hear from other people that may have ordered recently if they weighed this or if they took it at face-value that it was a 1 lb. wedge?Update 8/20/2015: I emailed the company and they will credit me a little money for the ounce.There is other halva on Amazon that is about .20/oz. This is by far the most expensive halva I have ever bought; at almost $1.00/oz., when you include shipping, it is not a great value and the taste is average. As someone else said in another review, I would have expected more pistachios in it.

This is divinely good. Halvah is hard to find and Joyva halvah bars just don’t cut it (sorry joyva)They send you a good size block of halvah and it arrives fairly quickly. When I ordered it I was a little worried because I essentially ordered it in the middle of summer, but all that happened was it secreted a bit more oil - which is normal regarding the ingredients. It is wrapped up, it did not leak in the package or anything. All I did was throw it in the refrigerator for a bit as a precaution.It is absolutely delicious with coffee or black tea.Everyone in the family enjoyed it.

I haven't had Halva in years. When I saw it on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. It's just how I remembered...so delicate and rich. This is going to be a constant staple in my home.

This is the first time I've ordered from this company. The Pistachio Halva was very good. I'll be ordering again from them.
