This is a very nice short leather leash for walking your dog in traffic especially crossing large intersections. This is a safer way to cross streets with a short lead even if your dog is trained already.

My first one disappeared so I wasted no time to purchase a replacement. I use it twice daily and have never had any problems. The leave feels strong and durable, even when wet. It has served it well during long wooded hikes, off-leash trailing walking, and navigating busy city streets.

Hi y'all! I have a 2 year old, 65 pound German Wirehaired Pointer with TONS of energy. That being said, I have no fear this leash is going to break. If you are looking for someone to tell you to buy this leash without reading the rest of the review, yes, go ahead and purchase. You won't be sorry! For those who want a little more detail, please read on.I do a bunch of horse related things and am pretty picky about leather items. I'm not sure I have any negative points about this leash. The leather is nice and thick, the braid is sturdy, the length is great, the color is nice, the leather itself is not stiff, but smooth and buttery. The dog dunked this thing in the pool a couple of times and I was worried that the leather would get brittle/stiff. I threw some oil on it and bang, good as new.The clasp is very nice sized and sturdy as well. This is not a very heavy leash. One pleasant feature that I"m sure was not intended, but the braided part makes for a very convenient grip when I have to bring my dog in extremely close to me. Even more, I can drop this leash and my pup is tall enough that it doesn't drag the ground making it nice to have already attached to him if I need to grab him quickly. All in all, a great purchase I have not regretted. Thanks!

This dog traffic leash is well-built with quality materials. It looks very nice on the vest of the dog. The leather is strong and the clasp is very thick and nice, I do not doubt that this Traffic Leash will be able to direct even the biggest dog out there.

This leash is great for teaching your (taller) dog to heel. The length is perfect because it keeps the dog right at your side. It's strong and allows for complete control over the dog. My only complaint would be that the buckle clasp is a bit heavy. While hiking we leave the short leash on and let the dog wander (great because she's not tripping on it), but I think the buckle may be annoying her with the weight hanging down. But overall a very sturdy, and well-made product with genuine leather!

My dane is extremely trained and never on a leash. I have a cross-body i used to train her on but now she just walks by me like she is on the leash. I love this because in an altercation I now have a quick grab in case an untrained dog comes at her. I now have the power to let her be free and still be able to protect her. And as a joke it is a legal leash... so when I’m not holding on to her she technically is still on leash...Most of the police officers around our parks and walkways know us so not an issue but also not an excuse for an untrained owner... yes you the adult. Your not a trainer. Dont pretend to be.For those with strong dogs this hand held is a great second leash in addition to the cross body because you have a closer grin on the neck which is the only way you can redirect focus on you and not another dog or issue. Their necks are the place where a leash should be tethered to. Not the chest which is the strongest part of the body. Dont give them strength where they are strongest.Use this lil guy for a second grip for those strong dogs.NJ

La verdad es que no esperaba un producto de tanta calidad. No puedo hablar de la durabilidad pero puedo afirmar que a simple vista, parece que está confeccionado con materiales de calidad. La correa es de cuero. La hebilla es dorada y parece bastante fuerte. Las costuras se ven fuertes y bien hechas. Lo recomiendo 100%. Apta para razas grandes. Yo tengo dos galgos y he comprado dos. Estoy convencido de haber hecho una muy buena compra.
