Great quality, well made. Came in handy to share family reunion photos among all the relatives. (I shared 12 gb of photos with each of them!) Have NEVER had one fail.

These are great for sharing photos and videos with family. I come from a large family of 16 children and over the decades have collected over 2,500 photos and videos I took and other members of my family have taken. Some as far back as the 1930's. I downloaded them on these thumb drives and sent them to various family members of several generations so they will live on in our family history for more generations to come. Easy to load pictures and videos on them and inexpensive to mail them to family and friends. If you forward them to other family members and you should lose your pictures and videos through flood or fire or other means, they will still be around safe in the hands of other family members who can return you copies if you ever need them. Since it is so "reasonable" in price I was quite worried when I ordered. Turned out, after I received and tested they were well packaged professionally and no shortage of storage. I used it to build Windows Recovery Drive and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Because of other reviews, I tested all of mine immediately to make sure that they all worked and they did. These are 2.0 speed so they aren't amazingly fast. 16GB is about as big as I'd go at 2.0 speeds since data transfer takes ages. I originally bought these for a dual purpose use. Linux distro installable USB sticks for family that they could also use for saving important files to/transferring files with. I can't speak for the longevity of the product, but it works well enough for my uses. the physical size form factor seems bulky and dated but that's probably a factor into the cost. PROS: + @ $3 per stick, can't really complain too much for the purpose I'm using it for. + Variety of colors are sure to leave you with options for handing out someone's favorite color CONS: - An option for all the same color, or color choice was not available so you're stuck with whatever they give you. Some of the colors are difficult to see the red LED activity light through. - 16gb 2.0 is almost an obsolete device for some purposes what with Image, Audio and Video files becoming ever larger. Your mileage may vary depending on your actual needs.

I like having a series of similar USB drives. I use some for bootable diagnostics and others for data backup and transfer. The colors give me a way to identify what functions I’ve assigned to a color. Very uniform look. Too bad there’s not a zippered case for them.
