Love it!
Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised with this item. It heats up nicely and saves my hand from being a brick of ice. It's a little big for my keyboard tray but so was my mouse pad, so I think the tray is just on the small side. My mouse pad and mouse fit nicely inside the pouch. The three things I don't like about it: 1) It doesn't have a hole in the back mesh for a wired mouse cord to go through. The instructions say to cut a hole in the mesh, which I think is a cheap way of doing things. Just have a pre-made slot in the back of the mesh for corded mouse users. 2) I have to bend down to unplug it when I'm done using it. Eventually, it heats up too much and my hand gets sweaty or too warm and I need to unplug it for a while. It'd be nice to have a switch on the cord I could use rather than bending down to unplug and plug it in constantly. 3) Yes, you have to take your hand in and out of the pouch. There's no way around that if you still want to type, but I knew that when I purchased it and honestly, it's not that big of a deal. All of my complaints are pretty minor. I didn't want to wear heated gloves that had sketchy reviews and required being tethered on both hands by cords, so this was the next best option. I wish I'd thought of it years ago!

if you use it properly it will work wonders for icy fingers!!
If you use this thing incorrectly, it will seem worthless. However.. once you figure out that in order to get the greatest benefit and provide heat right where you need it.. it really does a good job! Working at my computer (here in the northeast), without wanting to crank up my home heating bill), my mouse hand gets SUPER cold, my hands turn to ICE after a few hours of work... when I saw this concept I knew I had to have one!! I think this was an excellent choice as others had bad reviews. now this one could too, but I've figured if you put your hand only about halfway in.. the heating 'spot' is right in the middle on the top.. and if you put your hand just so it lays across your (cold) fingers right there.. this thing does an AMAZING job! (if you shove your hand ALL The way in, on the other hand it will seem completely useless (only warming the very top of your hand and your fingers will still be cold, despite this being a tiny fleece blanket). Had they not designed the opposite (closed side) of the pouch out of mesh, it may have provided more warmth..overall the design could've been been better. they could've put a larger heating area in this (and maybe putting it more in the back of the pouch).. . not used mesh for the 'end' of it and maybe used a thicker fleece.. perhaps with a little bit of shaping wire.. but for the price it's good and it DOES help a lot and will save my poor mouse fingers from that icy feeling!I would recommend this to others who work or spend hours on their computers in colder climates!

Helps quite a bit
I keep this on my desk at work. My right hand especially has terrible circulation and gets ice cold and turns blueish. This keeps it reasonably warm. It's not hot, just warm, but after 10 minutes or so of using it my hand gets much better. I do keep my hand and mouse inside the pouch. Mouse works fine in it.

it would be fine... if there was no need to use the keyboard
In concept, this handwarmer is fine. The mouse fits inside and works great. However, since I use the mouse only a fraction of the time I use the keyboard, it was awkward to keep going into and out of the bag. I find I hardly use it.

Better Than Expected!
I read a lot of reviews on this before I bought this hand warmer. Maybe I had low expectations after reading some of the bad reviews, but it has definitely been better than I expected. Most importantly, the hand warmer works. It gets warm and stays warm. I disagree with the comments that it's not warm enough. I wish the heat was better distributed. It's focused in the center of the mat so sometimes my pinky and thumb are cold while the rest of my had feels warm. One reviewer complained that there is no on/off switch. That is true, but seriously, how hard it is to unplug from the USB port? It stays hot for a long time, too, so you don't need to unplug it and plug it back in very often. I've had it plugged in for hours and can't remember having to reset it. It stays warm as long as I need it to. As for the complaints about needing a warranty, well the warranty is $1.82 so if that's really a concern, suck it up and get the warranty. If you're going back and forth between typing and mousing a lot, it is a little annoying to get your hand in and out quickly, but it's manageable and definitely worth it if you really hate having cold hands and struggle to keep them warm. I am very happy with the product.

heat is not bad... but is for wireless mouses :S
is for wireless mouses... i had to cut the bottom so my mouse could fit.other thing is, if you leave it working for several hours, there is nothing that turns it of after X amount of time... and the material literally gets burned (was wondering where that plastic smell was coming) now is not a soft surface anymore. ... well... the idea is good, nevertheless, need some work .maybe a zip to be able to use it with all kind of mouses. ... and let people know, after some hours, to disconnect it..ty

Don't believe the negative reviews on here!!!!
This little hand warmer has changed my work life! I knew I needed something that warmed from the top, and I wasn't thrilled by the size of the fleece 'sack' that is on my keyboard tray. But overall, the negatives that I read before buying are all outweighed by the fact that my HAND IS WARM!! I already used a wireless mouse, so that wasn't an issue. I find that as you use the warmer, the opening stays 'up' so you don't have to use your other hand to open it and insert the mouse hand.I also bought one for a friend who had the same 'freezing hand' issue as a gift. She loves it as well.I wouldn't walk away from it and leave it plugged in and 'on' for long periods of time, and there might be prettier options out there, but this works.

warmer hands
It's pretty useful. I'm the type that's always cold and in the winter my hands get numb/stiff while I work at my computer. This doesn't get that hot (maybe for safety), but it totally does the trick in keeping my mouse hand warm enough to be comfortable.

Great quality.
Love this. Great quality. Inside is quite large and roomy. Sometime I use on my feet instead. Wish the top warm part covered more area. The heat doesn’t go all the way across. I recommend this.

Exactly what I needed
If you get cold hands, buy this!!! I get the absolute worst ice cold hands, it starts to hurt! But this product really helped, I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now. First of all, it arrived 2 and a half weeks earlier than expected which was awesome! I absolutely love this this, I know my cons list below is longer than the pro's, but honestly it's so worth it that I don't care, a lot of them are very minor issues that don't really hinder anything.Pros:Warm without getting too hotIt becomes a warm little cave, so even though the heating element is only on top, the entire bag inside is a good warmth. It has enough room to move my mouse around a lot which is why I chose this one.Cons:You have to put your own mousepad inside, the bag itself isn't a mousepadCord is a little long considering it sits right next to my computer (but that's probably just because I'm on a laptop)The heating element is just a little square on top in the middle, the whole thing doesn't heat up. (refer to my pros list as to why this doesn't really matter tho)The bag collapses in on itself so you have to lift it to put your hand in each time (it doesn't bother me that much honestly and if it does I'll just make a little frame out of cardboard to hold it open)To end this review, I say buy it. Not having solid tracking of the package but concerning but it showed up earlier than expected and performs really well. I'm just mad I waited so long to buy one!
