This whole series of books by Andre Klein is great for beginning German language learners. There are workbooks available for some of the books as well as audio. I got all of his well-written, fun to read books and am working my way through them and using the workbooks from his website. This is a real find!

If you are learning German then these will definitely help add lots of vocabulary. It also gives you the ability to understand how the grammar is formed. But it will not teach you why it is that way!!! Overall a great set of books!! I would definitely bu them again!!!

Dino is finally starting to mature. He now acts like a mature 15 year old.Amusing book. Some insight into the culture. I think I might be up to a K5 reading level after this.

Ich libe dies Buche! I've read all the books in the series and I've loved every one. Book 9 doesn't pick up where the 8th left off so don't be too surprised. These have really helped me get a grasp on vocab, super entertaining!

This is a terrific series of stories about Dresden....current content. I was in Dresden two years ago, and these stories really bring out the flavor of being their. Good vocabulary and story lines.

I love that with each book, the level of vocabulary gradually increases. I've been able to gradually improve from an A1 beginner to about B2 intermediate reader, simply by reading books like these. Outstanding

I really enjoy the setup of the book and the lexicon at the end of each chapter as well as comprehension questions phrased using words different than those in the original text.
