Hammerite Direct to Rust Satin Metal Paint - White - 250ML

Although expensive it does go a long way for a small tin and protects metal really well.

Re painted our patio table and chairs. Covered really well. Easy to apply.

Used this to paint a steel beam which I'd wiped down with water and vinegar to get the excess grime off with. It covers really well and rust wasn't able to come through. After about a week I noticed the bright whiteness of it began to turn creamy/yellow. So I went over it with a water-based white gloss paint and the colour has been fine since. I could see whereever the water-based paint directly touched the steel rust would quickly form so it's crucial to use this Hammerite/an oil-based paint first and follow it with a water-based paint if it begins to yelow

Effective, good value and it works well

The only chuffing metal paint of primer that didn’t a tend up in brown rust patches on bare metal 6 hours after painting!

Absolutely over the moon with this product. Brilliant white I did sand the radiators slightly to smooth before painting Dries fast so you need to be quick but would highly recommend

Good drying time and coverage

This paint is excellent quality. I used it to paint a metal garage door. No need to use a primer. Easy to use and excellent coverage. Would highly recommend.
