It works. But... opening it after use to clean is almost a feat that requires the help of the Incredible Hulk. Fingers and fingernails cannot do it. I use a full butter knife, and have to pry it open as I would put the same force into lifting a jumbo jet.I’ve tried it with less coffee in it, thinking maybe I packed it too tightly, but the same result occurs.

These were exactly what I was looking for! I used just regular ground coffee, so they aren’t as flavorful as the actual pods. They are easy to fill and use. You do have to push down on the lever of the machine harder than with the aluminum pods.I already added more to my cart so I can pre make all my pods for the week.

I used an espresso grind. The crema came out nice, but weak.

They have potential, I would recommend using a cheap coffee to practice. It took many rounds through to get the grind, and tamp perfected. It does make a bit of mess getting grounds in to be able to close the cap. Coffee tasted good, but not quite as strong as the Nespresso. If it was my only way to have espresso I would recommend it. But it definitely takes patience.Nespresso uses 5gm coffee, these capsules will only hold about 3.8 with a super fine grind, if its tamped too tightly water won't go through. Works just fine, beautifully actually, with my Nespresso Citiz. The shot pulled had pretty good crema, surprisingly close to brand pods. Just tamp down gently though and don't overfill, and make sure lid is on tightly, all around. On my first try, the machine stopped pouring midway through the shot, letting out only drops afterward (although I tasted the "half" espresso, and it was concentrated but so tasty, can't waste that coffee). I must have packed too much that first time, but second try was a full shot, nice crema and robust taste. Will be buying more of these.I've been using the mostly plastic resusable pods ones from another maker, and loved those as well. Only caveat is that screen lids on those started to break after about a year of occassional use so I think the metal lids on these make it more durable hopefully. So far, it seems to produce better espresso. I'm guessing that maybe because the metal lid works better against the pressure when water is working through the grounds.I'm using the pre-ground Illy espresso which appear to have the right grind for my machine. Another general tip if your espresso is not hot enough, which was my problem early on with this machine: preheat the cup or glass beforehand. Pull a shot without a pod into the cup so only heated water comes out, let it sit for a few seconds to preheat.

J`ai tout essayé mais la moitié du café va dans la tasse, le reste sur le comptoir. Après 20 tentatives, j`ai jeté les 3 filtres. Même quand je n`ai pas mis de café dans le filtre, la moitié de l`eau a raté la cible ! Pourtant, pas une goutte ne se perd quand je fais un café avec une dosette originale nespresso. Si vous croyez économiser en achetant ce produit, vous obtiendrez le résultat contraire.

Followed the directions as instructed, did not work well at all. Instead coffee leaked all over and just made a mess !!
