Review: I should have bought this years ago. - After messing up another cup of coffee in the Senseo with a pod that didn't seat correctly, and made a cup of tepid coffee-flavored water, I bought one of these after watching a couple of YouTube videos. Best purchase ever. Easy to fill with espresso, makes perfect coffee after hitting the one-cup button 2x, and exceptionally easy to clean up. Good little device to save money on buying Senseo pods.
Update: I am using just plain canned coffee now and these were great. I guess I was using too finely ground coffee and they were clogging. I bought 2 of these over the past 4 years. Both seem to get a few grounds between the screen and the bottom part, clogging the hole. I have no idea how the grounds eventually get past the screen, but both have this issue. You have to wait until the pressure releases, along with the water that backs up going over the counter. I use bulk, med-fine blend coffee, so shouldn't be a problem. You have to unscrew the plastic part from the bottom, making sure you do not stretch out the o-ring. Then you can rinse it out, unclogging the hole. There isn't another manufacture that you can buy from, so are stuck with this design, still cheaper than buying pods, or making the pods yourself.

This didn't fit in my Senseo coffee maker and doesn't work.....very disappointing!

Cool gadget
Makes espresso making much easier. I had a plastic pod previously, and this one is much better: 1. Cleaning is easier 2. Removing from the holder - is not an issue (where with a pod, I sometimes "struggled" plucking it out) 3. I could use a little bit more coffee at a time :-) 4. Does not tarnish

Disappointed
This was unavailable on Amazon for a while so I bought it directly from their website instead. I went out of my way to do so because it seemed like the best option based on reviews. I typically use third-party self-sealing pods (the ones that you apply heat to, with a special device), so my comparisons are in relation to that. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. It does seem to be very well made, it cleans easily, and it doesn't let any grounds into the mug, but its performance seems very average. It makes a faint high-pitched wheezing noise, it's much slower, and it does not produce any froth at all. The lack of froth is the biggest negative. It also doesn't come with any instructions whatsoever. Edit: the wheezing and slow operation went away when I filled it with only 1 scoop instead of 2, but still no froth.

Easy to use with great flavor
The easy to use Coffeeduck allows me to use any coffee brand of my choice which I love. The Senseo Coffee Maker makes a fantastic cup of coffee.

I've been using the second of these that I have ordered. The first appears, after several years, to have stopped passing water through itself - not sure why but I've tried fixing it and couldn't. After several years of regular use, that's okay. I ordered a second. These allow the use of a Senseo with any ground coffee. So you can use cheaper coffee and/or just flavours that you'd like to try. I tend to use stronger coffee (than Senseo pods offer) that is simultaneously cheaper (than Senseo brand pods). Definitely recommended. Add the coffee to the dish, cover it with the supplied cover and wipe any escaped coffee (to ensure a seal) makes nicer coffee than the same powder in a normal coffeemaker IMHO

Kaufempfehlung.
