This is a well written designed book. Only a video could have improved it.The only real failing is that it was written in German and there seems to have been more than one translator. The quality seems to vary. Knowing German I was able to understand the sometimes awkward grammar.But the information in the book is great. I was a litre skeptical at first about the "exercise" based teaching in the second half of the book but it makes more sense once I got started.One star off for the translation but five stars for the content.There is no one book for a beginner but put this on your shelf.

Very hard to read because this book has been translated from German to English by someone who doesn't have a complete understanding of English.You cannot read normally or you will not understand the context. You have to read an entire paragraph then try to figure out what the author meant.Lots of great info, however, once you get around this stumbling block.

I am still a beginner in airbrush so can't comment on the technical details put forward in this book. Readers should, however, be warned that the author's first language is clearly not english. It reads like it was originally written in german and translated by Google translator. This leads to great difficulty getting the desired information out of the book. It is not as bad as those wonderful manuals translated from Chinese but it is close. The information is probably accurate but it is a great struggle raading it.

I ordered this for my husband and for someone who never tried to airbrush before, he is doing great.I printed this out for him and have seen him going page by page as he tries to airbrush. I would certainly recommend this book to friends, and I may even try it myself!

Excellent clear and concise directions on basics of airbrush use and care. I found it very helpful and its not a pricey book so you get good value too.

book was very helpful lots of information for people just starting air brushing It also is very helpful with problems you might run into

Not a bad book for beginners but it should describe some parts a little more for the layman but it's quite useful and I did learn some new techniques I think that I should have looked a little hard for a better book, but it kept me going until my other book arrived
