I've always preferred the Minis over the standard-sized M&Ms, entirely because of the candy-to-chocolate ratio. Bag arrived in perfect shape, bag not torn open, they were not stale in the least, the crisp of the shell just like you bought it from the grocery store. I didn't buy to melt, but as the saying goes M&M's melt in your mouth not your hands. It lasted a nice amount of time. I purchased for my wife and she was a happy happy woman. If you love m&m's and don't want to keep buying them, this 3 pound bag will hold you over for a long minute, so you can reorder while you still have some and with 2day shipping they can be replaced quickly!

I tried using these in my chocolate chip cookies and they melted/dissolved into colored stains. Tasty but not pretty. They should be good to sprinkle on cupcakes or other iced items but I wouldn't use them for baking again. I actually wound up adding these to packages of mixed nuts to give them a little sweetness.
