Quick release mount works well for my purposes.
Worked well for my whip on a Wolf River Coil.Only used to pop the 102" whip on and off... I never drive with it... only operate stationary.By the way, this is not an "antenna" as is stated in the description. It is a quick-release mount.Apparently, the seller does not understand what they are selling.

Threads were not machined properly.
The threads on the female end were not machined well enough to accept a standard CB antenna thread (3/8" 2 4). I ran a 3/8" x 2 4 thread tap in the connector to clean up threads, all good. I am sending an invoice for machined services.

Broke after 4 months
This was easy to install, BUT didn't last. I had this on my Jeep, and disconnected it daily AND it was never on when we went on to the trails. The base portion is 100% PLASTIC under the metal stud. I installed it in one place, and went to move it today and the plastic snapped when being re-installed. Save your time, spend the extra $6 and buy a Firestick quick disconnect.

Didn’t work for my purpose.
I admit I’m using these for a bit of a different purpose then they were designed for but this review might help others, that’s why I’m still giving the product 4 stars. I made my own lighted whip flags for our quads out of firestick antennas and led light tape. After the first use in the dunes one of the “locking teeth” broke. Causing the mount and whip to lean back rather than straight up and down. Like I said I realize this is not exactly the intended use for these quick releases but being that the dunes are much softer then some of the highways (especially with aftermarket suspension on my quad) I thought this would have lasted more than a couple hour ride.

Built well but it rattles
I am has a great fit and finish however, over 30 miles it rattles a little bit. I have a little more testing to do, going to put it on the spring and see if that helps at all. But for right now, I’m just saying that this is good, not excellent, not outstanding, just good

Too stiff of a spring
The item is very solid in its construction but the over stiffness of the spring makes it unusable.

Exactly what I wanted
Just wired up a CB into my Jeep Wrangler and wanted a quick way to take the antennae on and off. This product works very well and I'm really pleased with this purchase.
