The story of Justin Boots began in 1879, when H.J. Justin moved to Spanish Fort, Texas to become a boot repairman. He was a quick study, with an eye and talent for boot making. H.J. soon began his own boot company, Justin Boots, which he operated out of his home to serve cowboys passing though town. H.J. saw the potential for his business, so when a railroad was built ten years later in Nocona, Texas, he moved his family there to capitalize on a bigger market. In 1908, Justin Boots became a true family company when his sons, Earl and Avis, came to work for their father. Their combined efforts pushed the company forward, and just two years later, Justin Boots had doubled its production and was being sold in 26 states as well as Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Seven years after their fathers death in 1918, his sons moved the company headquarters to Fort Worth where it still operates today.

DO NOT BUY
These boots are awesome if you don't plan on working in them whatsoever. The sole started to separate and toe started to warp as foot was literally wearing through the bottom of boot. This all happened within 3 months. I weigh 175 lbs so don't tell me I wore them out because of my weight. Seller and manufacturer told me "boots look severely worn" and will not refund me or warranty them. I wouldn't buy a pair of Justin's or from seller if my life depended on it. Thanks for nothing.

Great Boots - Round 2
These boots have been great. Great enough that I bought the exact same boot to replace my previous pair that have seen a long hard life.

Disappointed
I really wanted to love these boots. The first day I wore them I notice the seem on the inside of the shaft that sit right on my ankle, kinda uncomfortable. Also there's a gap between the inside side of the boot and the insole that the ball of my foot sits on and hurts my foot. The second day the front half of the insole came up and started moving around while wearing and the thin top layer of the insole came off the cushion and started wrinkling. Other than that I really like the way the boots look. Like I said I really wanted to love this boot and thought I'd get that from a company like Justin. But now I'm a little disappointed in them.

Color not as described
The product is the same great quality of Justin’s boots. However, they’re more of a white-washed brown than what Amazon shows a picture of. Pictured attached is the Justin’s website, which is a much more accurate picture.Depending on what my husband says (they’re a gift to him) we may end up returning because he typically doesn’t like such light colored boots…his old boots are pictured for comparison.

Love the boots. Not the redish color you see on Amazon.
As far as the product itself its great. I've bought the same size of Justin boots before and the size was consistent. The one thing I would want to warn everyone out there that's considering these boots, the Amazon picture is not an accurate picture of the color. Other websites have a more accurate picture of the boots. I believe I looked at Boot Barn and saw the actual color. These boots are not the redish color that this picture shows. They are more of a sand color. For me I had looked at these other sites and knew what I was expecting but for those of you loving the picture on Amazon this is not what your getting.

High Quality Boots
These boots are very nice and made of thick, high quality leather. I believe an oiled leather. I wear a 13 normally in shoes and boots (14 in some athletic shoes), however with some square toes I wear a 12. A 12 in these was the right fit for me. The boots did have a break in period. I think because the leather was so thick (not hard leather, but thick). I found them uncomfortable at first. Nevertheless, I liked the boots so much that I kept wearing them for short periods hoping they would break in. It wasn't long before they broke in and they are very comfortable now. I really like these boots. Again, the look and feel of these boots is high quality leather and craftsmanship. Every time I wear them I get complements.

high quality
Justin is known for quality and these boots reflect it , however I couldn't get my foot down the shaft to try them on.The shaft needs to be enlarged or grease your foot to slip on...In my 60+ years these would have been my 24th pair... Sorry Justin

You might get used boots 😳
Boots are all scuffed up and look like they have been worn. We’ve bought before and they are usually great, might be this seller. NRS BOOTS, beware of buying from them...see unboxing video of boots.
