I recently purchased the Body Maxx Cast Iron Home Gym Set 50kg (Bright Steering Cut Cast Iron Weight Lifting Plates) from Amazon.in, and I’m really satisfied with the quality. The plates feel solid, durable, and well-balanced, making them perfect for both home workouts and regular strength training. The steering-cut design gives a good grip, which makes handling and changing weights much easier. Overall, it’s a great value-for-money product for anyone looking to build a reliable home gym setup.

You could go for these if you are a complete beginner. It took a lot of time to deliver but I'm happy with the product which I got! Gyms won't open anytime soon and even if they do there's a lot of risk involved. Go for it if you want to set up a basic starting level home gym for mild workouts.

Very good casting, I bought 4no.s of 5kg plates only one of them has poor machining in bore (which I rectified using a hacksaw blade, it took 20min to rectify it, still I m very happy with what I got)

I got these plates at about 76/kg through card discount. Pros-It should be available at about 65/kg seeing it's build quality and finishing. It is steering type and easy to grab Cons-100 gm underweight, poor finishing

Pros: 1) cheapest option for 2x 20kg plates, so value for money 2) good iron build, no major rusting instead of contact with moisture 3) Spoke wheel design: so easy to hold as it has grab hooks inside which your hand goes perfectly 4) Very thin, so you can load up Many such plates even on a short length Rod (earlier I used cement filled PVC plates, which were very thick. This 20kg is thiner than 5kg PVC plate)! 5) fits perfectly in 28mm hole of any the 28mm rod. Cons: 1) Smell of chemical initially (went away after few days of use though). 2) Loud if dropped on the floor (can even damage the floor) as it’s made of raw iron 3) finishing not smooth & consistent, it has sharp edges, so if it falls on your leg, it fan seriously damage you: BEGGINERS BETTER USE RUBBER PLATED weight plates, they’re much safer (but for the price which the body maxx comes at, it’s good. Rubber coated 20kg weight plates don’t come cheap)! 4) Around 19.5kg weight (each plate) instead of 20kg each. For a value home gym setup, these suffice, but as you upgrade to 50mm rods, invest in better quality plates then this (preferably rubber coated). But for 28mm rods, these affordable iron plates are worth it. Been using them for almost 3 years now (I have 10kg & 5kg version of these too), and they have held up very nicely! The plates are ok but 2 plates ineer hole is bigger than other it will work I liked it

It is good but finishing and painting needs to improve. Small iron points are remaining on plates. Paint needs to improve. Amazon has taken almost 15 days to replace it
