I can bisque fire this clay to 04-06 then glaze fire this to cone 6, correct?

According to my package this is a midfire cone 6, but you still need to bisque fire 04-06. I have not used this yet.

Is this good for throw on a pottery wheel?

Yes it is. I'm am learning and have bought it 3 times. I don't know if it the best. I'm still just learning on my own.
