Good fit, easy to install, no problems
Perfect fit on my Stihl ms180c. Took off pull cord cover, swapped out coil, had saw running in twenty minutes. Hopefully the coil will have a long life. I reused the plastic positioner under the coil bolts but I also set the gap with a business card as I tightened the two coil bolts. The coil body was smooth and this one had no soldered on wires. I used the wires that were on the saw.

Works but with a little bit of trimming
Not quite a drop-in unit. There were some prep work needed on the product itself - 1. trimming to remove some access manufacturing glue/resin and plastic trim before it could actually "fit" in with some forceful coaxing 2. unsolder one connector on the product (why did they solder it on?) so I can plug the existing "black" wire to the product I used the thickness of the cardbox the product came in for the air gap adjustment between the magnet and the ignitions pole/sensor and that works perfectly. The chainsaw started right up afterwards. Did several more start stop and chainsaw started on the first pull every time.

Excellent price, easy to install and performs well.
My Stihl MS-170 chainsaw developed the classic symptoms of running well when cold and became intermittent or would not run when hot. Time for a new ignition coil. This coil was reasonably priced, especially when packaged with a new plug. A few minutes on YouTube on how to properly and easily install the coil and the saw is running like new, maybe even better.

shipping defective parts
Yea, I know...took a risk with non-OEM part. This part will not fit a Stihl 017 saw without major modifications and was shipped with melted fittings and a cracked, reglued? housing on the ignition coil. Learned my lesson.

Almost (but not quite) fit a 2019 Stihl MS 170
The 2019 Stihl MS 170 has a plastic locator that is installed under the coil. The locator automatically sets the air gap. If the locator is not installed, the T27 screws that hold the coil cannot be tightened (the screws bottom before tightening the coil). Unfortunately, the Huri coil differs, on its back side, just enough from the Stihl coil that, when positioned using the locator, there is less-than-zero air gap, that is, the flywheel does not turn because it hits on the coil. I have posted above two photos showing the difference -- subtle (look closely the right side of the photos) but enough that I returned the Huri part to Amazon. Also, second point: the OEM Stihl "short circuit" wire (yellow on the Stihl) is a push-on spade connector; on the Huri, a red wire also is a push-on space connector but has been soldered to the coil. There is no reason for Huir to solder that wire to the coil. I removed the solder and the red wire, connecting my OEM yellow Stihl spade connector.
