Made to last a lifetime, this cracker is a great value as it truly is an heirloom quality utensil. The silicone grips make it easy to use even with buttery drenched hands and fingers. I just throw them in the dishwasher when done and no signs of rust, yet. If my friends ever have a crab boil, you better believe I will bring these with me!

I am so impressed with this cracker. The quality is fantastic and holds up to the hardest shells. It comes in a nice, heavy duty box that I used for storage out of the utensil drawer. I think I am buying more crablegs now 😉

Works very well. The lock latch slips into place by accident sometimes, a very minor irritation. It costs too much... but i will probably buy more as gifts.

I was gifted this claw-crushing contraption under the pretense of “dinner prep,” though I remain unconvinced that crustaceans warrant such personal involvement. Nevertheless, the tool performed admirably. Strong. Sturdy. It split those armored little limbs with precision befitting a Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd. No slippage. No dramatic sprays. Just clean, decisive cracking. If one must engage with marine carnage, I suppose this is the most dignified way to do it.

Having tried a lot of claw openers from strong nut crackers to highly reviewed ones this breaks every claw open without needing a two handed operation best of all it does it very cleanly not splintering the shell into the meat
