For me, as a very non-expert, I just want strings that make a noise. These do exactly that and don't cost too much. My only negative observation is that the loops are a little narrow and don't fit easily on the hooks. Two minutes with a screwdriver opened them sufficiently to slip on easily. It's not a deal breaker.

Easy to play and nice range of sound. Not sure how long they will last as only been in use a few weeks. All good up to now.

The eye on the end of the 3rd string snapped off when bending to loop onto the tail piece. I have restrung many banjos but never used these strings before. I use the D'Addario strings for re stringing my guitars so assumed that the quality would be OK. I have only just found the time to restring the banjo and have seen the strings are now out of their return period. I guess I should have done it before and seen the fault and returned the item. Very disappointed. But thats a lesson learned.

They sound good, and despite the fact that I'm constantly re-tuning the strings to different banjo tunings, none of the strings has broken.
