Sauder Cannery Bridge Computer Desk, Milled Cherry finish

Excellent quality! I purchased this because the options of good-looking desks are slim. I visited multiple furniture stores wanting to purchase a desk that was good quality. None of them offered desks that didn’t require assembly, so I decided to just take the risk and order this from Amazon since I like the looks of this desk, the price, and no matter where I purchased I’d be assembling the piece on my own. This desk is SOLID. There is no wobble or lack of stability. And the best part? The desk top is a thick solid piece of material. I can’t imagine it ever sagging. I would 100% recommend. The most difficult part of assembly was adjusting the hinges to make the door straight. Seriously though, if you want a piece of furniture that is solid, durable, AND looks great for just a little more than a piece of junk desk you can purchase at WalMart, get this desk.

It is a good desk but in order to minimize the shipping box size (I presume), there are millions of pieces of wood to put together (slight exaggeration). Now, it is pretty easy to put together but it is a loooong process from start to finish. At least once in the instructions (maybe more), we are told that now might be a good time for a drink. If you don't mind spending 3 hours or more putting this together, go for it! I am happy with it.

Desk is a nice product and would have been really good if not broken in shipping. Didn’t realize until all pieces (and there are a lot of piece) were taken out of the box so it was too much of a hassle to package up again to return. My husband made it work in assembly for them not be seen but still disappointing to have it damaged before it was even assembled and used.

The desk is perfect for what I want. I did not expect a high end product. This desk is equal to the Sauder products I have purchased before. It was not easy to put together but logical. Just take your time. Well engineered. Screw holes for decorative front of pencil drawer we’re in wrong place so drawer would not close. Drilled new holes so piece was lower vertically and worked perfectly.

This desk completely fell apart when we attempted to move it to our office. needless to say I was not happy with my purchase. Buyer beware of low grade partical board.

So many parts and instructions to go through and after assembling I tried to move and it broke in the middle. not worth any price. I understand after assembling a little bit of movement here and there was fine not breaking apart into two pieces. I put it back again and assembled in place and not moved again, I am afraid it may break again if I move.Don't want to return as it is a hassle to return these big items.

Real value for the price. Customer service is amazing! Ran into a slight snag when assembling but they walked me through it step by step.

Well made, easy to follow instructions and good looking. All the reasons that I only buy Sauder products when shopping for furniture of this kind.

Takes a long time to put together. My husband spent several hours over 2 days putting it together, and he’s very good at doing this kind of thing. The colour is brown and not true to the colour in the picture (milled cherry). It looks lighter when I shine a light on it. There were several scratches on top of the desk. Extremely heavy. I’d like to send this back but after all the hours spent assembling it, how could you unless Amazon came and picked it up as is!

Although the desk looks ok, the construction and durability are an absolute joke. After only a few months both bottom front rails on the desk have broken off from my 6 year old resting his feet on it. He was not using it has a ladder but simply resting his feet. When I received the desk it was already damaged in some locations due to the particle board breaking off in some of the corners. If you want a desk that will just be on display and never used this is the desk for you. If you want something that will last, don't waste your money on this.
