Excellent item highly recommend it.

They do the job. However, I gave it 4 stars because they are too expensive

The alignment of the hinged base with tower sections was not correct. To make this work, would require risking the integrity of the welds. The photo shows the best possible alignment we could achieve without attempting extraordinary means. It is possible that a bend occurred during shipping or it could be a result of some deformity of the receiver pipe on the hinge plate. I have had the small end section of a Rohn mast bent during freight transport which could be corrected using a conduit bender but this problem is not so easily remedied. Rohn products are generally good, I've worked with many, but no process is perfect.

Love it , can't wait to put it in the ground

I used this on my 40 foot tower and it works great. The alignment was perfect considering how closely the other sections lined up. I have another 50 foot tower I am considering putting up and I will order another plate if I do. I can raise and lower the towers with a 1500 pound electric ATV winch from Harbor freight. Perfect set up when you can't always count on help.

I did not expect this product to be so unstable and wobbly. Will definitely need to use guide wires if going over 20 ft

the product quality is high, but you are pretty much completely on your own as far as erecting it. their customer support is unhelpful and their universal answer is "get an engineer". they need a healthy dose of competition to get their head on straight.
