Very good product. Serves the purpose. It has surge protection and one can easily vouch on it for using heavy appliances.

Quality is average. I had to correct one hole before use. Holding screws are rusted.

I bought this to use with a Computer PSU which does not require more than 5A current but came with a 16A cable for some reason. Please do not use with a device that actually requires 16A current. Will damage the device or the product.

This product does exactly what it is suppose to however not knowing it in details can cause serious problems. Infact may be the product should come up with a little warnings of Does' and Dont's. I bought this one to fit a new Iron 15A socket to my existing 6A sockets. The wiring inside the board is strong enough as well the board and it also carries a design where Indian as well US plugs can fit. So this one fits in that board nicely and that futuristic iron worked all good. Left the plug as it is in socket and next day a family member tried putting their Laptop Charger plug into it. The laptop dint get charged but it heated up like induction stove. Very Very hot. The charger and everything in between went HOT and if it wouldn't have been disconnected in time, it would might have cause some accident. Luckily the laptop had heat sensors and it started working back again next day on normal board as well on batteries. Someone here has advised in review that 'one should get a proper board fitted instead of this workaround' and I totally agree with that. There are lotso adopter in use now days. If those phone pin socket adopters are suppose to decrease the amperage and voltage for digital device this one does exactly the apposite of it. It increases the amperage and if things connected to it are not designed to work with that amperage then they are deemed to be burned out or can cause heating problems or can even melt the wall board. In the world of Solutionism and a quick answer to every question, this one is not a quick answer. One needs to understand how electricity and electronic works to some degrees in order to use this product. Or simply avoid it and get a good permanent 15A board fitted with help of Electrician.
