Klipsch R6 – In-Ear Headphones, Black

These great right into your ear canal and cancel out other noise beautifully. The music stereo effect is perfect.

Headphone are ok - sounds are clear and bright enough. They fit well after adjusting the buds. There's little if any discomfort...I still need to work out exactly the best way to push them into my ears. The anti-tangle cables are interesting if a little distracting since they do prevent tangling but they also resist any kind of wrapping. So unless you're fond of dangling cables from every pocket you need to pay a little more attention when putting them away.....but the "universal remote" isn't that good. I'd go as far as to say (for me at least with a Sony Walkman running Android) it was pretty useless. Firstly the remote lacks pretty much any kind of button or indication of any volume, pause or play functionality. The white on black card that fell out of the packaging and has 2 diagrams that would baffle the Sphinx is worse that useless. Even if I could decipher what the card was trying to tell me comparing the picture to the block of anonymous black plastic hanging from one earphone is a task designed to make the most ardent audiophile weep. No amount of pressing of that blob makes the slightest difference to anything...except my fingers: they ached - a lot! I'm not that fussed since I pounced to get these when the price collapsed below £50. the remote was a nice to have and I really would have liked to have it. I'd be extremely annoyed if I'd paid the original price and the remote blob had been as useless. As it is I'm annoyed but will know better next time. If you want a nice set of earphones, you could do worse than these at the lower price. If you want a pair of earphones with a built in remote - don't bother with these.

Love these earphones although I'm on my second pair. The first pair broke in the right ear bud after a year. Sound quality is good and as good if not better than more expensive earphones I've had.

You won't beat these for under £40,very good sound quality and superb fit with angled tips

Advertised as having a universal remote this product fails to deliver. The remote does not control volume, a primary function of a remote control.

Any review is relevant depending on the reference you had before and the genre of music you listen. My reference was Sony EX-MDR510LP and I considered them the dream listen experience for heavy metal . After putting on Klipsch R6M and listened for 5 min, my old Sony seemed to sound really bad. After enthusiasm disappeared I analyzed the sound more in detail taking the same track and switching between Sony and Klipsch. My conclusion is: - the general tone is bassy with a light negative effect on other frequencies. Bass can be lowered using an EQ, and the other frequencies improved but not significantly. - mids not so forward, vocals a little bit in the background. For brutal death metal could be a good choice :) - highs not so clear and crisp....well, you can hear them, but Sony is doing better in this respect. I tried to improve the frequency response using the EQ of my Sony mp3 player and the results were satisfactory. Conclusion: overall sound better than Sony EX-MDR510LP and I recommend them. If you are interested in build qualities I can say that they are much above average. Cristian

Me encanta la calidad del sonido... Perfecto para mis gustos musicales.(jazz, rock, soul, classical) Tienen un ajuste cómodo en mi oído, y bloquea el ruido ambiental muy bien! Pero... el ruido/vibracion del cable es un asunto significativo. Para resolver el problema del ruido del cable yo paso el cable dentro mi camisa, o alrededor de la parte posterior de mi cuello... manteniendo el cable en contacto con el cuerpo. El ruido del cable es absorbido significativamente con contacto con el cuerpo junto de la oreja.

I've had these for 2 years now and I love them. I was stuck between these and the momentums and I am very glad I chose these. They sound absolutely amazing and I have never heard a better sounding pair of earbuds. My only complaint would be the eartips as they fell off a lot for me. But I bought comply isolation memory foam tips for mine which have made these my favorite pair of earbuds ever. Highly recommend.
