I bought this to use in a photography studio, but it is so bright, you can't look at it, so it is not going to work for this purpose. It seems most people have used it for security, which would be a useful application since you could see the burglars and they would be blinded, so they couldn't rob you. I wouldn't recommend it for anything where you would need to face the light.

We have about a 60'x60' back yard and this light has no problem illuminating it all. Given it is just one light we don't expect it to be daylight bright, but regardless this light makes it plenty easy to see and do things at night by itself.

Be Warned... this item is EXTREMELY fragile! I set it on the ground to use for the 1st time, and in less than 2 minutes, the cord was slightly tugged accidentally which caused the light to fall forward face down. The glass screen instantly shattered into a million pieces. Now I have a $40 piece of garbage. I bought two... returned the second one. Lesson learned.

This light is super bright. It doesn’t get has hot as similar halogen lights. It can light a large area great for indoor or outdoor use

seems like a solidly made device. we will see how it lasts. Great light output.

Solid construction through out.. Absolutely blinding light provides the area coverage that I was looking for. Replaces a Q500-T3CL fixture that was getting expensive to relamp.
