Swaddle Buddy Suit (Large, Aqua)

My boy loves this wrap. It allows his legs to be free which makes him one happy baby. If it starts to stretch out too much wash it and bam...back to normal. He goes to sleep almost instantly when he is snuggled in it.

If your baby is a mini-Houdini but you still want to swaddle him or her, this is for you. Easy to put on (after watching a short YouTube video) and easy to clean, I only wish I had gotten one earlier.

We had to purchase a Tucker sling and wedge for our infant son who is still requiring swaddling to sleep because of some major reflux issues. Normal swaddlers enclose the legs, so they can't be used with the sling since the legs need to be free. This works with the Tucker sling perfectly. Baby is still happily swaddled while positioned properly in the sling. Also, there's no way baby is getting his arms free with this design, which is good because for my little guy, wiggling himself free wakes him up. My only 2 wishes that would make the Swaddle Buddy better: it seems very complicated to use, especially when you first get it, so it would be nice if the procedure to wrap baby was a bit easier. Now, to the manufacturer's credit, they foresaw this and made a video posted online demonstrating how to use it. Handy! But, it still took about a week or so for me to get quick at it, and my husband was afraid to attempt it for the first two weeks. We are both used to it now though. The other wish - I wish they weren't so expensive so that I could have a couple more on hand. At $30 each (and spending an arm and leg on Tucker supplies) I can really only afford to have one extra. I usually would want two extra on hand. In my opinion, after using the product, $20 would be a much more reasonable price point. But, like with other products that work well for us while being a bit overpriced, we'll grin and bear it because it's the only thing that works. When that's the situation, you don't have much choice. So, all in all, I'd definitely recommend this, especially if you have to use sling products for a reflux baby.

Could be easier to use. Our son did not like it, so we haven't used it more than once. That said, for a baby that needs a bomb-proof swaddle with free legs, this could be a great option. If you don't need open legs or to really lock down the arms, I'd go with the HALO sleep sack or SwaddleMe.

Great item. Holds complicated babies!

This product is great! We bought the small and large (in green). Our baby would break out of the tightest swaddle. The method also kept getting more and more complicated as we tried to prevent breakouts. We actually don't have to swaddle tightly and baby stays put. I guess it's the two layers going in opposite directions that keep her arms in. Her arms never end up behind her (as another review complained) because we don't put her arms behind her! We watched a video on it's use and that made it a breeze. The material is really nice too. My only "complaint" is that the velcro attachment area for the "inner" swaddle could be larger (it's a medium-sized square) -- with a squirmy baby it's easier to not have to worry about hitting the mark.

I have been on the lookout for a swaddle that my little Houdini cannot escape from and finally found it! I purchased the Swaddle Buddy Suit and it arrived lightning fast. That night I put it on my little guy and he slept for 9 hours straight! Ahh sleep! I had almost forgot what it felt like!

Our baby has bad reflux that has gotten better over time. This swaddlebuddy along with tucker wedge and harness have saved us and let our baby have restful nights sleep. thanks so much for inventing these :)
