This switch is Normally Open, closes thermally
So you think you found a bad switch because this part tested no continuity? This switch is normally open and closes when it gets hot to force the fan on if needed. It's probably not your problem unless the fan is stuck on. Want to test this? Check continuity while getting it hot with a hair dryer. It'll close then open back up when it cools.
