Snow free!
Arrived just in time for a snowfall. These were the conditions of my car when I put it on. My windshield was dry and I had snow/ice on my hood up to my wiperblades. Therefore I did not get to test out the effectiveness of the magnets to keep the flap down on the hood. They don’t seem to be very powerful. If ever the snow melts off I will be able to update. I’d also like to test what happens if snow has already started and the window is wet or what happens in freezing rain/sleet. Will this cover rip when trying to remove or stick real bad is the question. Ok, back to my review of that snow day...the cover worked beautifully. Because of the thick stiff material along with the flaps and the side mirror straps it stayed down firmly. The only thing that didn’t stay down was the extended flap that would cover the wiperblades and stick with the magnets to the hood. It folded up, right at the wiperblades, but like I said above I couldn’t test that part. The cover peeled off with ease. This cover will be much easier to put on in windy conditions due to the material vs the flimsy black ones flapping around. Speaking of which, I bought the bigger one too. Haven’t tried. I’m very pleased with this one it fits my 2009 Ford Fusion perfectly.UPDATE: Well I’ve gotten to use the cover more during some bad snow storms. The cover was put on this time while the car was clear of any snow. Best cover ever!! The magnets kept the flap down perfectly and the cover stayed on tight to the window. It’s also easy to remove and shake off the snow. If you happen to have gotten any moisture underneath it may stick to the window though as with any cover you’d get. Just turn on the defroster for a bit.Although minor and trivial here is my only complaint...I wish it wasn’t silver. Rather a darker blue or black. More incognito.

Windshield cover? More like Wind Sail cover.
Really disappointed in this product, I must say. It advertises that it has magnets to help hold it in place. My unit had none. Trust me, I double and triple-checked.This has "flaps" that are inserted through the car door when you put it on the windshield. Obviously, the idea is that you open the car door, insert the flap and then when the car door closes it will hold the flap against the door frame and help keep the cover in place. The reality is that the flaps are too thin for that purpose. I placed the cover on my car and noticed a breeze (nothing too strong) and one of the gusts tugged on the cover. It didn't take long before the flap started to pull out of the car door. It was obvious it wasn't going to hold. But I left it on overnight to give it a full test. The cover also comes with a cheap elastic strap to secure it on the car's side view mirrors. Well, when I came out the following morning one of the straps had already torn away from the windshield cover. The flap had not held and the cover was laying halfway across my car's hood. So, to sum up:Advertised as having magnets: mine had noneFlaps to hold it in place: too thin and did not holdElastic band to secure it to the side view mirrors: Torn off.It was NOT a heavy wind. This is just a poorly constructed product and is not worth of your attention or your hard-earned money.

Works really good, but it will get the inside of your car wet
This cover saves me lots of time in the mornings before work. It fits my car perfectly, but I suggested it to a coworker with a mid-size car and it was too small. The one thing that is kind of a drawback is that during the day you have this big wet cover to go into your trunk. If it was extra frosty that day or warmed up and rained, you wouldn't want to put it anywhere someone will sit or if there are things you don't want to get wet. Worth $12 all day.

Ripped after a week.
We ordered 2 of these, they were great for a week then the elastic broke on the first one and the second got a smal year. Both repairable but annoying.

quality product
Easy to install and keep in place. It was a bit small (about 6-8 inches) for my Ford Escape, but worked great when layered with an additional cover.
