Mermaid-tastic!
My almost 7 year old has been wanting a mermaid tail allll year and Santa finally brought her one last night. She is sooo excited wearing it and proudly showing it off. I bought her the size that's for 6-8 years old. My daughter normally wears a size 6x in clothing, is 48" tall, and weighs about 50 pounds. The skirt is long and loose without the plastic monofin inside, but once the monofin is attached, it fit fine. Just slightly loose in her waist, but perfect because Summer isn't here yet so she has time you grow into it. The bikini bottom that comes with it fit just fine. I can't go a size smaller or that bottom won't fit.

Purchased this item for my 8 year old grandaughter’s birthday. She is very very petite. Tail just fits her without any room for growth. Size chart is not correct. Buy one size larger.

Nice mermaid tail, our girl is in love with it, wearing it in the house too, not only at the pool. Runs a little small so you should get a size up. Very nice, strong and sparkly colors!
