Great thermometer. Seller on here was about as much use as a chocolate tea pot. But if you go to microclimate them self you couldnt get better customer service. That's the only reason they get 5 stars. Seller I would give a -1

BETTER CONSISTANT TEMPERATURE,
HELLO, I GOT THE CLIMATE CONTROL THERMOSTAT TO PREVENT MY SNAKE FROM GETTING BURNED. I HAVE A COOLING FAN ON A NICRU TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER AND I AM GETTING A COOOLING EXTRACTOR FAN WITH A TEMPERATURE CONTROL. I ALSO USE A HUMIDIFIER TO CREATE A PRECISE CONTROLLED MICRO CLIMATE TO KEEP THE SNAKE COMFORTABLE. Thank you Mr H Singh

Does not work with neodymium, UVB, UVA lamps
The dimmer isn't working properly. At low current, the lamps, including neodymium, UVB, and UVA lamps, begin to flicker, creating a strobe effect as seen in the attached video, even though they should be reducing the light intensity. The seller's website doesn't state that the dimmer doesn't work with lamps primarily used in the terrariums.

Gets far to hot well past it's supposed 44c
Absolutely rubbish when it first starts up on a morning the temperature gets past 47c it's only supposed to to go to 44c max it takes hours before it drops to a safe temperature i test my temperatures regularly with a lucky reptile Deluxe dual probe thermometer I'm sick and tired of tweeking the dial so I've binned it and made my own dual dimmer set at 42c for the basking bulb and 38c for the arcadia projector heat bulb which works perfectly
