I injured my knee while hiking in the mountains recently. I am giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 because they arrived dirty. On one crutch, the grey rubber was black and dirty in some areas. Also, some of the aluminum was scuffed black on both crutches. I believe what I received were returned crutches from someone who returned because they are cheap and want their money. I am keeping these after simply wiping them down with rubbing alcohol. Dear DMI company: I recommend more quality control on returned items because I don't think most customers will be as laid back as me.

Through no fault of the crutches, I could not use them. Got them for foot surgery, but my back is not strong and I am very un balanced. They were a good choice going into my thoughts before my operation. JD

These crutches are small. My 5 year old has been obsessed with using household items as crutches for weeks, so I finally agreed to let her use her allowance to buy a pair of crutches for pretend play. I tried to select a pair that would be at the lower end for her height (45 inches) but still work for my older children should an actual medical need arise. These crutches are almost too small! The crutches are labeled for an adjustment from 4'0" to 4'6". We had to move the crutches to the 4'6" level and move the hand bars down to the lowest level. These crutches will likely only work for a child up to age 6 or a shorter 7.

I'd get there underarm pads. The rubber can be uncomfortable after a bit. For the price they were all and more than I expected. No one can borrow them. They are mine. Can't rent cheaper. Same quality and no one's germs.

I'm a heavy set man in these crutches are light and very heavy duty extremely sturdy I feel safe using them and they are very comfortable

Ordered these prior to my surgery, as I wanted time to practice with them beforehand. Easy to set up for my height (I am 5'2") with very clear instructions. Really great quality. Highly recommend.
