Dewalt quality
Very effective for grinding down concrete. I used it to take layers of paint off outside wall. Used it for 5 days and still no wear. It needs practise to get it to work and leave a smooth finish. Its a workhorse but not a finishing tool

Does the job
I got this to remove thin set in a small area where i was changing tile. It worked very well and got down to the concrete quickly. I would not recommend using it indoors without a dust shroud and vacuum attached, and if you are using it outdoors, you should wear a mask at the very least. I did manage to create a couple of crescent shaped gouges in my slab, but since I'll be tiling over them it doesn't matter.

Super awesome
Works great. Getting lots of use out of it. But you need to buy the dust shroud attachment or spent days cleaning afterwards. With the dust shroud I used it inside my house in the basement even. DeWalt shroud doesn't fit vacuum hose, but I bought a rubber plumbing (fernco) fitting with hose clamps to connect it to the vacuum hose. perfect. Doesn't do a really smooth job on concrete, but I might buy a finer one to clean it up a bit after. Cleaned up my shop floor and more. Looks great now. about 2hrs of grinding. bit tough on the knees.

Was not expecting it to work as well as it did!
I purchased this item to level my concrete floor to prepare it for hardwood floors. I was amazed on how quickly it could rip through concrete and smooth everything out. If you do use one of these grinders inside closed spaces it is really important to use a dust collection system. The amount of dust this grinder kicks up is incredible! So make sure your using a mask or outside or have a dust collection system.

Small Concrete grinder
Works great and this was the best price I found. I used it to grind down the entire top of foundations on 2 1600 sqft houses. It has plenty of life left in it so I ground down some six 1-inch-high concrete corners on a garage approach. The houses foundations took about an hour each and the concrete corners took about 15 minutes each. Dust level is very high so I would recommend at least an N95 mask.
