I ordered these last year and honestly did not have high expectations, but I was tired of paying ~$25 every time I needed a pair of shoes/boots stretched - problem solved, these work magically. Since having the second metatarsal broke in both feet, I typically need the toe box area of shoes/boots stretched - these work perfectly without a trip to the cobbler. Thrilled with purchase!

The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the insert to stretch the arch does not attach so it is not easy to make sure it is in the right place. If you don't have shoe tree expanded the insert just slides down; if you do have it expanded then you have to try to slide it into place. I wish they made it attachable to make it easy for those of us with high arches.

I have gorgeous Frye booties that I bought secondhand, and after wearing them for a season I admitted they were indeed too small for me size 5.5 women’s). I decided go try out stretching them, and I landed on this product because of the good reviews. I also bought shoe stretcher spray on Amazon, so I sprayed the insides and then put the stretcher in, and turned until fully extended. I actually left them in for over 2 days. I didn’t use the bunion things. Now I can wear the boots comfortably with thin socks! Or tights! Still not thick socks, but that’s fine. Before, even having them on without socks would cut off my circulation a bit. (The boots were always fine in length but super tight up top.) Now I put the boots on with socks and I can move my toes around and everything. Definitely didn’t stretch more than one whole size, but I’m very happy with this! I recommend. Im excited for Fall now :)

This order took 10 days to arrive and the bag was open. I have used the stretchers for 48 hours in a very tight pair of leather boots and do notice a slight difference in the width of boots. I'm going to use them some more to try and stretch the darned pointy toes. These stretchers are bright pink plastic with the metal tops in a heart shape. They seem rickety, so don't expect them to last a long time. Also, they don't come with instructions for use, but that can be figured out. I would not reorder this product, or recommend it to friends. Truth is the truth.

I was super skeptical of this product but the reviews provoked me to buy it.I recently refreshed my boots and have 2-3 pairs of new leather boots that are ROUGH to say the least as far as breaking them in goes. My feet would be screaming at the end of the day and they still wouldn’t be anywhere close to broken in. One pair is dang near impossible to even get on. This arrived today and combining the show stretched with the show stretch spray. It’s a dang MIRACLE. After stretching for a couple of hours they slide on like butter and are pretty comfy.It’s not a cure all to the breaking in process but it’s a start!

These did not work for me at all. I tried them on two pairs of Ariat boots, but they did not work for me at all. I left them in the boots for over a week thinking that maybe with some time it would work, but they would just got right back to the way they were before. The rubber piece is not attached to the actual stretcher, so I had a hard time keeping it in place. It seemed to stretch them out long ways, but did nothing for the top part of the boot and that is what I was really needing to be stretched. They might work with something with with a little more flexible material, but I would not recommend them for any kind of leather shoe.

I was hoping to find stretchers that work for BOTH boots and shoes, but unfortunately, they don't seem to make those. These are relatively easy to use. When stretching your boots, be prepared to give them a few days for the stretching prior to use. I have wide feet at the top of my feet which was the main purpose I purchased these. They are mostly metal with a durable plastic on the portion that is used for the actual widening.

I'm using this to stretch my snip toe cowboy boots to make them slightly more comfortable than they already are, but I haven't used the product long enough to see if it will really do anything.The product feels sturdy in the boot when tightening, and the little nub adjustments are great, but the top part doesnt slide or snap into the top of the stretcher so I'm not quite sure how useful that is. Will update after a few weeks of use.
