These work well. Have tried all the different shapes and sizes at this point with no issues. Reading level seems accurate when we test it against batteries that seem to be running low or that we know have died.I didn't need two, but I gave one to my parents. So overall great value.

This is a must have tool in your house to quickly check to see if a battery is good. We decorate for different holidays with things that need batteries, and many times, they aren’t used much so instead of throwing the batteries away, we just put them in a box to reuse later. If it’s something used a lot like a remote control, weather station, backup for a clock, etc, we of course use a new battery. But for other things, these used batteries are just fine, as long as we know they are good. We put this battery tester in the box of batteries so that we know if they are good before we try to use them. This tester works on most kinds of batteries, AA, AAA, C, D, 9V, and even the small button batteries and is very easy to use. I looked at other testers that were more expensive with fancy displays, but they themselves need batteries to work. This one does not. They are very inexpensive and I did see some reviews questioning the quality, but you do get two with your order. It’s a must have item.

Works well for many different sized batteries I tested, it needs no batteries, and I like the compact size

Works well for the AA and AAA batteries, even the DD and 9v seem accurate. The other small circular batteriesyou put in remotes or key fobs are always read as dead. Over all the plastic is cheap and expexted for the price. Overall useful but not a recommended product.

Basic battery checker. Low cost and saves on throwing out potentially good batteries.
