Imagine being able to display a pirates sword horizontally that makes it pop off the wall at you! What a delight! People will be blown away, it looks like a museum. Safety for your sword & you is well though out here. The mounting system consists of four pieces, simple black mount (no name brand names on the mounts), the main mount has two posts with a gap of about 1 1/2 inches. The design of this mount has the posts installed at an angle to keep the sword on the mount (even during a earthquake), next a black leather strap that you can remove one part and get to the sword and put it back easily for your protection. The third mount is like a bumper to keep the tip of the sword away from the wall. Have it rest straight and perfect. Suggest to keep the sword tip covered. This sword mounting system will work on countless different swords with a large quillon near the blade so it needs longer posts the width of 1 1/2 inch wide blade. This is the mounting system to buy that create a cross swords, just need to buy two mounts. During my research I talked to a 20 years sword maker, he made a suggestion to me. A customer of his had over 300 swords in his bedroom on the walls, when the Northridge, Ca earthquake happened all the swords came down onto his water bed, lucky no one was there that morning. He suggested to have a backup system to keep the sword safely in place no mater what. Good idea. We delivered that to you. I would not suggest mounting any swords around your bed either.
