What size of hose would i need? will 5/16" id fit? the description is confusing...

I bought this unit and a hose but the hose has unf 5/8. how do i connect that hose to this unit? is there a fitting i need to order?

If hose doesn't push onto barbed fitting tightly then yes replace fitting. Why such a big hose?

Can you please post a picture of the power plug? i see conflicting answers about 120v/220v and american plug type in the questions section.
