Sennelier Oil Pastel Colorless Blender - Transparent Medium

Sennelier oil pastels are the best but they are very expensive, so if you are just starting out with this medium, like me, I suggest you get the less expensive brands to practice, then whe you are ready, buy their biggest set you can afford. I bought a small set plus these blenders and they are the great. I plan to buy one of their big sets as a Christmas present for myself.

Amazing with the right pastels, Sennelier and such. Does nothing for cheaper, hard pastels.

Well, it’s one stick and it came up smashed in packaging, but because it is an oil pastel I think I can still use it without having to return it. It’s just going to be a little bit more challenging. I think I’ve never used it before I don’t wanna go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for another one so I’m gonna see how I work with this one but it’s only one stick for the price. Whoever said they got more than one stick that may be true, but not with the one of the best pastels out there and I love using their product. So I’m not gonna return it. I’m gonna try and use it the best that I can because I don’t wanna wait. I’m excited. I just ordered a whole set of colors that cost me a small fortune, but they are some of the best oil pastels I have ever used and I also have their iridescent pastels oil pastels and they are absolutely beautiful. Just like with any other pastel they get soft I put a silicone packet in there. It seems to help because moisture is the enemy and I don’t let it just lay out. I keep it in p so nothing can happen to them. I’m giving it a four star instead of a five only because it’s damaged otherwise it’s a five star all the way.

I did quite a bit of research on this, and as most pastel artist know, Sennelier are considered to be the best oil pastels available. This blender is a little more costly, but if you are looking for the best quality, this blender is the one to get.
