These dvrs are excellent for the price. This is the second one I’ve bought. I am using two separate systems on the same Sannce app. Setting them up was WAY EASIER than I thought it would be! I can check either dvr by clicking on them in the app.

Replacement DVR that died for a CCTV that used obsolete SDI cameras (also obsolete) w/coaxial cable RG59 connectors. We just hooked it up the DVR and it was very easy to do so. We were concerned the DVR and new cameras wouldn't be compatible with each other or the existing wiring but, they worked and the picture is great! Replacement cameras were "HD Camera" Analog CCTV Camera. We had a heck of time finding the correct components - we hope this helps others looking to replace an old SDI system. The cameras came preset to HD TVI and that works with the DVR. Looking forward to seeing the night vision. We do have a blink system which we're happy with however, we love the security of CCTV (can't be jammed) and these cameras are set to cover very specific areas on our property. We didn't initially get a picture but checked and didn't have power to the cameras (no red lights) - turned out to be a loose wire.

As many people said on here this just doesn’t work . Picture quality is good when it works . Connectivity of cameras is very poor , off and on and is a major pain . To sum it up it’s just not worth buying ,installed a new hard drive worked for a few days and now it would not even recognize its there EDITED Originally I had given it a one star someone from their customer service contacted me explained the connectivity of the cameras they went above and beyond sent me a new camera free of cost and once I receive the camera I connected, and most of my problems were resolved. I wind up, upgrading all my cameras to the sannce cameras similar to what they had sent me I did have to format the hard drive that I had installed , once I did that all the issues were resolved.

Way more user friendly then a zosi brand. Ive had this for a bit. I wanted to see how it performed after a little bit of time and not jump on "its great" band wagon. I had to replace my 8ch zosi since it went belly up after about 2 years and I needed more cameras slots anyway. This still uses the zosi brand cameras just fine. The night vision quality if ok, It's enough to distinguish general shapes even in lit areas. The day time view is great, can see colors and shapes at a fair distance. If you are intended to view people at a distance though, you will only get a general color of clothing and shape. The motion detection is bad though. No matter what sensitivity you set it to, it doesn't change at all. The phone apps works great both with android and Iphone. Its a breeze to setup, and it reads my 6tb drive no problem. You can configure everything from a pc and the web based login once you have the initial setup from a tv hook up. The alarm notification is a nice feature for the phone. It will show you a short clip of whatever triggered the alarm on the phone app. So far I have not had any major issues with it. I did try an annke brand but had to immediately return it since for some reason you couldn't view it on iphone and android at the same time. It would only allow the setup on 1 phone at a time. I cant vouch for sannce tech support since I have not had the need to contact them. All in all, for the money it seems good. Now the question remains of longevity. edit... The screen capture is from the pc and it is right at dusk so some of the cameras have already switched to night mode.

I wrote this review earlier today. I was wrong in my assumption because I DID get a refund. It was in the form of a gift card on Amazon which I did not know I had until I ordered something today. I apolgize for stating I did not get a refund since I was only looking on the card and did not know it was a gift card as I did not see anything stating that. Although it had a hard drive, it does no good if it is not recognized. It kept putting a banner over the screen saying no storage device found. NOTHING anyone suggested helped and the banner blocked the cameras. After several hours working on it, it sent it back! Update: Although I was told: Refund issued $111.27 refund issued on Apr 14, 2023. Return received on: Apr 26, 2023 I STILL have not received a refund although I included photos of why this product was USELESS as I could not see what was on cameras because of the flag saying "no available storage for recording" when it had a 1 TB hard drive, it does NO GOOD when it does not reconize it although I spent 7 or 8 hours trying to resolve the problem. I included detailed information of what I did to try to get this product to work. I am going to contest this with my card company, and I will be sending a letter to the corporate office telling them I will NEVER BY ANOTHER SANNCE PRODUCT because of this experience.

Replacing a Zosi dvr. Hard drive noise. Sannce dvr, see comments below Written instructions are poor. Several attempts made to get 4 Zosi cameras to work. Working now. Picture quality is good I downloaded the app on my phone but it failed to connect to the device. Comment from reviewer stated below (I'm deleting phone app): Unfortunately, it falls short on remote access as I would not consent to app requirements for essentially total access to my phone, given home base is China. Cannot connect the system to the Wi-Fi Will keep dvr for camera recorded monitoring. Do not recommend for purchase.

The only issue I have with one of these DVR"s( I have 2) is that one of them won't connect with the Sannce Vision app. I don't think there is anything broken just that there is something in the setup stopping the DVR from connecting. There is tech help for this issue but it did help with the issue I am haveing. I think the problem is in the app not the DVR install I have tested out 6 diffrent bands of DVRs and the Sannce is the only one that works correctly. The pictures are perfect and the DVR isn't picky about the 2mp cameras that I have install in my system. I have spent many hours trying to get my cctv system working perfectly and the Sannce 16 channel DVR is the best choise for a DVR. A+A+A+
