Very nice Machine
I have been using this machine for one month, this machine is very nice and easy to use, grinds coffee, makes good coffee. What I don't like about it, is that there is no "off" switch" if there is I have not found one. Once you make coffee you want to turn it off because it will stay on for two hours, but you can't turn it off unless you unplug it, if you unplug it you have to set the clock all over again when you plug it back in. This isa poor design, they need to add an off switch on the next model, I will continue to use it and unplug it after every use.

Compact, sleek, super easy programmable and convenient built-in grinder
Positive: Compact size and sleek design of this coffee maker makes under cabinet use easy, but still need to pull out from under the cabinet to fill the water resevoir. Appears to be well made and sturdy after daily use for about 3 weeks. Programming is super easy and works every time; it uses a 24-hour clock so you don't get coffee at 6pm when you wanted it at 6am. The mesh filter is great, easy to clean and necessary for use - the smallest paper filter won't work in this model. You can use beans or ground coffee during programming with a double tap of a button.Negative: The bean grinder is loud, but it's something you get used to. It will wake you up though - which can be a benefit I suppose. The carafe is smaller than my previous coffee maker so when I fill it up, it's harder to pour without spilling like the spout isn't wide enough. I'm giving a 3 on material quality and durability due to a couple of small dents on the metal side.

CHARGE YOU EVEN FOR AN EXCHANGE!
Love product, very disappointed in customer service. If we didn't like the actual product as much we do, we would have gone with another seller completely! The first one we got had some faulty wiring which was no one's fault, so I just wanted to exchange it. When it worked properly it is by far my fiancés favorite coffeemaker, he loves trying all new whole bean blends ground fresh automatically every morning.I gave the temp control a 4/5 because in my opinion it doesn't seem to brew or maintain the ideal hot temp of my coffee. Otherwise we absolutely love the thing! We throw the beans in at night, already have the time set, and we wake up to the SMELL of freshly ground and made coffee - NOT the noise! Yes, comparatively this maker is on the quiet side while grinding! Love it! And we were worried at first it would be a pain in the ass to clean bc there obviously can't be a bottom to the filter; but it's as simple as rotating the filter/holder a few degrees to pull it out and just rinsing it off.And I also love the size and look of it! It looks compact but still gives you a nice size pot of coffee. It's the first pot I don't think of as an eyesore on our counter, the square stainless steel design is actually extremely clean and appealing looking. Especially for someone as anal retentive as me about shapes and symmetry!So I gave the product 3/5 not really because of the product so much as the service. Even though I just wanted a straight exchange for the faulty one we first got, I had to flat out return it and then re-buy it which forced is us to go without a pot at all for 3 days. ********Not only did I have to do a full return, drop-off and re-buy, they did not tell me that I would STILL have to pay for shipping it back! Even though I still wanted THEIR product!So basically I just paid more money than another consumer because I wanted to be a faithful customer and give their product the benefit of the doubt. (Because the faulty first one we got would turn on to grind but never stop and just try to brew thru it!) 😕

Wow! What a buy!
In the past 15 years, I started out with the "upper" priced grind and brew coffee makers. I tried them all and had two problems: First, you were luck if one lasted 2-3 years. Second, and most importantly, the were so hard to clean that it was ridiculous. About 5 years ago we purchased the Conair concierge pot that had a grind and brew function as well as just a regular "brew". I loved this coffee maker. It was efficient, easy to clean and reliable. I gave this a 5 tar review everywhere I could because I was afraid it would be overtaken by the big marketers. Now, the "big names" died after no longer than 3 years and we had to shell out the money for a new one. So, just recently, our Conair Didn't "die" but was taking too long to brew a pot of coffee. I went on line to purchase another one and discovered that Cuisinart has purchased Conair:( And to make matters worse they, apparently, only purchased them to remove the competition, because they product is still the inferior product that it was 6 years ago. So, I started looking for another option. After hours of research, I decided on the Gourmia coffee maker. The reviews were all over the lot. I decided to take a chance. We have had the pot for about a week and we love it! The people who say it is hard to clean haven't ever had one of "the big three" or they would know how difficult a pot can be to clean. We find that this pot makes wonderful coffee, you can use either beans or pre-grown coffee, it is easy to clean and has a really easy set up for morning. Your either hit the "bean" button" or the "ground" button and your set. You can also program the unit to make the coffee whenever you want it to be ready. However, for me, I look at two things--the flavor of the coffee and the ease of cleaning the coffee maker. This gets 5 stars in both categories! (I hope Cuisinare doesn't buy them just to eliminate the competition!

HANDS DOWN BEST COFFEE MAKER
I am an avid coffee drinker and have been looking for a great coffee maker to use. This product was AMAZING. I typically drink around 3-4 coffees a day (sometimes in 1 sitting) and this coffee maker fulfills my everyday cravings. Not only is it freshly brewed coffee- the coffee stays warm for 30 minutes. This allows me to have multiple coffees in one sitting all of them fresh and hot. I highly recommend ordering this coffee maker. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Having a good coffee is imperative and finding a coffee maker that works for you will 100% enhance your life for the better.
