If you don’t wanna have to call the plumber by yourself one of these and it will make it a lot easier. Good quality works fine.

I have no reason to rate this purchase low, but I also cannot tell you if it works. You see, what I failed to realize is that this tool here can only be used for a more modern rather than the forty-year-old one I am attempting to remove. Before purchasing, make sure your drain has cross members that divide the drain into quarters. If you have an older type that has only two small nubs on opposite poles of the drain, like me, you are going to need another tool, which is yet to be found. But holding the tool in hand, it feels solid and like it would be a fitting tool for the job it needed, so I plan on holding on to it, I feel it may come in handy down the road.

Looks like a good tool. Something you will probably use once or twice.

Worked very easily. Helped me do some basic plumbing by myself which I am very proud of. Only wish this had more uses.

The tool does not work on a standard bathtub drain. This tool was a waste of time and money. I do not recommend.

I ordered this drain strainer wrench to replace a couple of tub and shower drains in my house with popup drains. I am not sure if this is actually intended to be a sink replacement wrench instead but the forks were too narrow. It did work to provide enough torque to get the drain in the tub tight but if I had purchased a really expensive drain, I wouldn’t have used it for fear it would break the forks off on the inside.

Enough leverage to do the job, deep enough and multiple options depending on drain variations on it.
