SKIL 5” Random Orbital Sander with Cyclonic Dust Box & 3pc Sanding Sheet - SR211601, Multicolor

I’ve been using this SKIL orbital sander for several projects now, and I am genuinely impressed by its performance. It’s compact, well-balanced, and easy to handle even in tighter spaces. The variable speed control is incredibly useful for different materials, and it consistently delivers a smooth, swirl-free finish. What really sets it apart for me is the dust collection box. It’s way more effective at trapping dust than the old fabric bag types, which keeps my workspace a lot cleaner and cuts down on cleanup time. It’s comfortable to hold, and the vibration is minimal, so I don't feel like my hand is shaking after a long session. If you’re a DIYer looking for a reliable, powerful sander that won't break the bank, this is a fantastic choice!

Works well ; plugs in , light weight great price

Used to prep/sand kitchen cabinets for painting , turned out great. Sander is powerful, not any noisier than any other orbital sander I have used. The container to collect dust does a great job, not a bunch of dust flying all over. You do need a brush to clean the container out, you can't just remove it and empty dust. I would buy again.

Its a decent sander and is a great price for the tool. The tool is well made and has a good weight to it. Handle is comfortable and speed control is a bonus at the price point. Only complaint is lack of dust extraction. It has some but not adequate. Performance is as expected just make sure not to press too hard or you will get swirls...but that common issue

Excellent, used on an epoxy product with no problems at all, comfortable to use.

Works great

It got the job done, without dumping dust back in the room

Read reviews, seemed decent so I bought one. Everyone was complaining about dust collection, not sure what they were expecting since palm sanders don't have an active suction system. I tried out it out and filled up the dust collector pretty quick, then tested out my Dewalt, same result, same amount of dust, but that cost much more. So I certainly do recommend buying the skil if you're not looking to break the bank. Collected dust well on Oak, cherry, maple, pine, basswood...

This is easily the best tool I’ve bought in a long time!! I have to sand all the walls on the main floor of my house and it’s working like a total champ!! Easy on your budget at $61, easy to use, making my diy job much more manageable!

Muy buena compra, hace más fácil el trabajo de lijado, y mejor con el sector de "velocidad," funciona perfectamente, muy buena calidad de los materiales.

Muito boa
