I think that they are a little cumbersome at times but they will be very practical when we get to the point of being cold in the mornings while on vacation. My wife and I both detached the pillow as it is very bulky and heavy but I can see where there might be future use. We have not really used our jackets much but expect to use them more in the near future. Review: Used Once in Iceland So far. - I usually fit into Medium, I ended up purchasing a Large. The medium was putting pressure under my arm pits and lifted the whole jacket when I put my arms up. The large fixed this problem. The neck pillow is nice but I replaced it with a better inflatable one. Storing the neck pillow in the hood is not practical. You will feel it when you put your head back and its impossible to unbutton it while the jacket is on. The eye cover is nice when you need it but not when you don't. Sometimes it will come down when you put the hood up and block your view. I found myself constantly tucking it back up. There should be a button or something to hold it up. The Ipad pocket is amazing, fits 2 beers or an Ipad with no problem. The drink pocket is great as well, I used it to hold my beer while I was walking around in Iceland when I needed an extra hand. The built in gloves give you that extra warmth when you need it but will come out every time you put the jacket on. They also make the wrists a little tight so if you have a long sleeve shirt on with buttons by the wrist you might get caught a bit when you take it off. The passport and wallet pockets were my favorite and very practical. The phone pocket is a bit tight for my Nexus 5X, I ended up using it for various items. The 2 open pockets opposite of the Ipad pocket were also useful for carrying a battery pack and travel book. When I first used the jacket I had every pocket filled and was not comfortable on the plane. On the way back I only used the Ipad, passport and wallet pockets which was comfortable and practical. I ended up taking the jacket off both on the way there and back because I was getting hot. As for security, walking around, and going to bars I felt it perfect. I knew my wallet was always safe inside and I think the jacket looks cool or at least I felt that way wearing it. It was warm enough to walk around at night in Iceland with an undershirt and dress shirt underneath.

Inspector Gadget!
My husband travels a lot and he is obsessed with this jacket! He loves gadgets so this is the perfect item to make him feel like he's the Inspector Gadget! Very convenient and great quality.

Disappointing
This jacket was a great idea but poorly executed. The neck pillow is just stuffed into the collar. not attached like it shows. gloves need a snap to keep them in the sleeve as they come out everytime. For the price I paid this should have included a blanket, sturdier fabric for eyeglass holder, better quality fabric overall. Bought this for my son but will be returning it. The jacket as is should cost about $50.

Awesome! I bought the travel jacket for my 19 year old son and he was delighted. The gloves are particularly nice.

An OK Jacket Loaded With Unnecessary Gimmicks
This item has been billed as “The World’s Best Travel Jacket.” I doubt it. Experienced travelers dress in layers so they can easily adjust for different temperatures. I would describe this jacket as medium weight, so, if you take it on your trip, you may also need to pack a light jacket. It’s more efficient to pack a light jacket and a couple warm under layers. If you do plan to layer with this jacket, be aware that it seems to run a little small. The sizing chart indicated that I was at the high end of medium. I bought a large, just to be safe, and I’m glad I did. The jacket is fairly snug, so I could only wear one other warm layer under it. I wanted a jacket with a hood, but this one has a serious problem. The hood is so deep it hangs over my face so far it is difficult to see. Some jackets have an adjustable velcro strap that can be used to pull the hood back away from your face. This one does not. There is also nothing to keep the eye mask up in the hood, so sometimes it also falls down over my face. In order to see, I have to wear a baseball cap under the hood. If you have to wear a hat anyway, why do you need a hood at all? Why would anyone want a “drink pocket?” The promotional video shows a young man putting an open soda can in that pocket. He’ll regret doing so the first time he bends over. Then there are the built it “gloves.” I suppose, in some circumstances, they might be useful. However, when you don’t need them, they are just in the way. You have to stuff them back up the sleeves each time you put on the jacket, and they make the jacket unnecessarily difficult to take off. I predict that most people will cut them out. The neck pillow seems okay, although a little shallow. It does inflate and deflate fast. It takes a while to figure this out because the jacket does not come with any instructions. The pen is a gimmick that pulls off every time you unzip the jacket, unless you are careful to use the zipper pull and not the pen. I’m sure I will lose the pen. Most people who travel already own gloves, a neck pillow, and a pen. They could have left several of the gimmicks out of this jacket and lowered the price. Of course, then it would just have been an average jacket.

Not the Best jacket ever!~! - So disappointed.
Totally Gutted. I wanted this jacket so badly, I bought it for my husband as an anniversary gift and checked the measurements before I got it and when It arrived the arms were so short. I paid $60 for postage, and then $60 to return it. Really disappointed. I don't have $120 to chuck in the air!!!
