The voltage rating of the light needs to be checked before use as it blows if not rated properly.
It is a very handy tool to have when working on any vehicle, as it loads the circuit there by checking connections, but the wattage and voltage of the led (bulb) must be correct, otherwise like mine it will blow if not rated properly.
