For starters, you definitely can't beat the price. Granted if you are just wanting a single tip, you probably don't need a set of 18...but then again, you never know when you might need/want a different one. This set also has the perfect mix of shapes. Need something tiny or fine-pointed to get at those pesky 0402 pads. You've got it. Need a large flat chisel with huge surface area to solder those massive LiPo wires to a pad. Got that too. I can't think of a single hand soldering task I couldn't do with these. As to the quality, they look to be very good. No noticeable blemished, dings, bends or anything. I can't officially speak to the longevity, but I'll update this if I ever do encounter issues. So for now, I highly recommend them!

My setup is a Weller DEC1001 with 2 EC1201A irons. Current project is a 20 layer multiple ground plane board with 0201 parts stacked next to each other. I was looking for a variety of fine point tips to handle the 0201s. A hot air pencil would be a better tool but I don't have one at home....yet. Like I said there is a variety but for me I see myself using the conical, bevel and chisel point the most. I was really interested in the bent conical but that really hasn't worked out very well. Maybe my setup or the particular application. The ground planes on this board suck up the heat. Previous review said had problems tinning...all mine tinned up fine. I run my irons VERY hot so I have no idea how long these will last. I'm only on day 3 with about 20 hours on 6 different tips. Worth the $30.

The tips are exact replacement for name brand. The quality and machine of the tips is excellent. The price is a great value too.

These tips are probably fine. They feel quality and the price is right, but the tips I ended up receiving were not exactly as listed above. Most of the tips in the listing were included, but random tips were not included and random other tips were included instead. Very confusing. Luckily the tip I needed ended up being in my order, but if you're counting on a particular tip in this listing being in your received order then I can't recommend. I guess it's to be expected when ordering the Alibaba (list on Amazon) special. Just know that you're taking a bit of a gamble on the tips you receive if you order this listing.

These are much cheaper than those from the manufacturer. But they look and work identically. It is great to have a large supply of spares.

High quality product at a great price! Used these tips together with my Weller 1010 and WESD51 soldering stations. There was a wide variety of tips included in the package I received. Enough to cover all the types of soldering projects I will ever do. Measured tip temperature using an FG-100 monitor and the results were right on for my 1010. So far very happy with the results.
