Good Value for Money. It's not a flute but better. It is German Wind Instrument which sound similar to flute. Full durable plastic. But cheaper from Kadene is also available.

What would you like to hear!! It's From Yamaha...stong built... superb finish and beautiful tone...all in one. The tone is bit on higher octave..sharp tone. I would have taken bit base sound in recorder..but that's what the particular model is for. But surely a decent recorder at a decent price.

The music teacher at my daughter's elementary school requested we purchase a recorder but did not provide any advice on brand or model. We purchased this recorder based on the reviews we read and we're very happy we did. The sound is crisp and clear, listeners can easily distinguish the different notes being played, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. Turns out with the exception of one student, everyone in her class had the same recorder! I recommend this recorder to any parent looking for one for their child's music class. If this is not the "industry standard" for elementary school music classes, it should be.

My son asked for a recorder, and this Yamaha soprano model is perfect. The build quality is fantastic, it feels sturdy, well-made, and durable enough to handle daily practice. It's a great, budget-friendly instrument for a child learning music. It also comes with a little cloth carrying bag. Highly recommend!
