Thorns for the roses
The hard language took a bit getting used to, but the spirit under all that is true and life-affirming. I needed this book to remind me of somethings that I had forgotten to remember along the way of growing up. I, along with my best friend, were long looking forward to the release of the kindle version and I read the book entirely - while taking notes - the same day. I would recommend this to every woman, both broken and whole, to remind her of her worth .... and to every man who is genuinely looking for a light to show him his way Thank you Mr. Derrick Jaxn

The Book EVERY WOMAN needs!
In this fast paced world of social media and a world of fast love its very easy to get into the habit of bending into a pretzel in order to hopefully find that long lasting love.. This book reminds you to have faith in what you have to offer to a relationship it reminds you that a man must work for a place in your life and that you deserve that level of effort. A must read for every man and woman!
This book has changed my life and the way I look at things. I couldn't put it down and even read it twice! I am so thankful a friend recommend it to me. This book is insightful and honest. It teaches you how important self-love really is to build a healthy foundation for yourself and in your relationship and how to set boundaries of what is okay or off limits. I feel so much stronger and better about myself after coming out of a relationship similar to what was described in this book. I know exactly what kind of man I want in my life and who I want to be and I guarantee anyone that reads this will feel the same afterwards. Thank you Derrick for sharing your experiences and stories and for being so incredibly real. I would highly recommend this book to everyone!
