PVC tubing is a polyvinyl chloride plastic with plasticizers to make it more flexible and transparent. Steel wire PVC tubing works excellent in many fluid applications where general chemical resistivity and high pressure handling is required. Pvc hose is non-toxic and crystal clear. Clear pvc tubing is chemical and ozone resistant. In Biodiesel Processor applications, the flex pvc tubing holds up well and only needs to be changed every few years, depending on the application and consistency of use. Steel wire tubing resists collapse in vacuum applications. Self-extinguishing. Temperature range: 25°F to 150°F (-4°C to 66°C).
