Re-Zoom (Picture Puffin Books)

I use this with my scouts to get them communicating but they can't show the picture to each other. It's a great game.

I bought this book along with the Zoom book for a team building exercise with 2 teams of 30 or so people in each team. I took the pictures out of the book, mixed them up and then handed them out for one team to try to put them back in order purely by describing them to one another. The team doing this book struggled a lot more than the team with the Zoom book. I'm not sure if that's a reflection on the book or the organisational skills of the team! It was interesting to watch though.

this is a book that I have never forgotten when I bought it to help the children with conceptual limitations and found that everyone gained somehing special from it! Clever and inspiring,,,an analogy for education and understanding itself!

Love this as much as the first Zoom. Very clever.

Each colourful picture tells a story of its own, but when put together, a larger picture and a more complex story is formed.

I think the book is a great way to learn and teach perspectives.

Guten Tag. Ich bin während meiner Zusatzqualifikation zum Erlebnispädagogen auf dieses Medium aufmerksam geworden. Für pädagogische Zwecke gibt es dieses Buch auch als eine Sammlung der einzelnen Seiten, ich habe mich aus Kostengründen für dieses, vom Format her etwas kleinere, Buch entschieden. Die Seiten habe ich vorsichtig aus dem Buch getrennt und einlaminiert. Da die Rückseite jeder Seite geschwärzt ist, ist das kein Problem. Das Material ist super, die Seiten ein wenig glänzend und farbschön. Auf jeder Seite ist ein Bild zu sehen, auf den folgenden Seite wird aus der Szene immer weiter "rausgezoomt". Ich benutze das Buch für Kommunikationstraining in Gruppen, dazu teile ich jedem Teilnehmer 2 Seiten des Buches aus und lasse die Teilnehmer der restlichen Gruppe ihr Bild beschreiben. Der einzige Hinweis ist jener, dass die Bilder alle in eine richtige Reihenfolge gebracht werden müssen. Hier entwickelt sich eine erfrischende Dynamik, zu beobachten wie aus anfänglicher Unverständnis in Bezug auf den gemeinsamen Nenner der Bilder, nach und nach ein System entwickelt, bis den Teilnehmern erst einmal klar wird, dass es sich um einen Zoom verschiedener Szenen handelt. Aktives Zuhören, aktives Erklären und Transferdenken wird hier ebenso gefördert wie das Einhalten und die Erkenntnis der Wichtigkeit von Einhaltung der Gesprächsregelkultur. Funktioniert bei Erwachsenen und bei Jugendlichen hervorragend, als reines Bilderbuch in Begleitung eines Erwachsenen ebenfalls für kleine Kinder zu empfehlen, da es Vieles zu entdecken gibt. Bin ebenfalls in Besitz des Buches "Zoom". Unbedingt empfehlenswert.
