Great gift! I bought it for my partner, we have a Jack Russell cross breed and the animation on the mug is perfect, the colour change works superb with a hot drink , I didn’t tell her about that and it was a surprise when she used it, we take our dog to work which is where she uses this mug all day too, great purchase, package was perfect no damages , delivery as expected. Recommended

Meant to be an xmas present but decided against it based on reviews.Here's mine.The mug - standard white mug with labels on the outside (smoothe & no wrinkles) which will obviously deteriorate with time.I usually take between 20-30 mins to drink a cup of whatever.The length of time the pic is revealed depends upon:Cup temperatureLength of time to consume drinkDoes it work - Yes. I've tried various combos:Cold cup - Milk & teabag first then hot water - initially results in black lines top & bottom & pic revealed in middle, then whole pic revealed.Warmed cup - hot coffee topped up with cold milk. Full pic revealed.With a hot cup the pic is displayed and graduating downwards as drink is consumedWith a cold cup as above but for about 15% less of the timeWorks, but not worth the money.

Destroyed by the dishwasher. I know it says it in the small print, but its an expensive mug, who handwashes a mug?

I bought this for my boss as a Christmas gift so its used only at work, I have hand washed this every night before leaving so the cleaners don't put it in the dishwasher and unfortunately the black is peeling off already, im disappointed with the product.

It has been used twice and the colour change is starting to peel off, so is the panel on the bottom of the mug. Shame as it is a really lovely design.

Within a short period, the film on the cup started to peel off. I've returned and recieved a refund from amazon
