Greeting young lass or beardless man, and prepare to embark on a cheap journey to looking like a Viking. So I bought this for Halloween, and just for gimmicky days at work. Overall I'm pretty impressed what I got with just a few bucks, and a prayer that it wouldn't suck. Good: -------------------- *Solid crotched viking hat, the horns terrify smaller animals that dare look at you. Cats see them as giant ears, and think you're some kind of Alpha predator, dogs look up at you and realize that you're a true warrior from across the sea, and children think they look quirky. *The beard made from an unknown origin that mimics the awesomeness of a true Viking warrior's beard, is not very scratchy on the skin and can be worn in a wide variety of climates from the sweltering summer heat, to Northern breezes that could chill a man to the bone. *You can fit a mask over it, and rock the 2020 look while looking manly and health conscious for the general public of peasants and other folk. *You attract males and females from across the globe, many will double-take as they see a true Viking walking in their midst, and many will ask to come over to you and take a selfie. The Bad ------------------------- *The beard doesn't look great on everyone without the hat. *Cats are genuinely terrified of the hat. *People will want to try the beard on themselves. Honestly for a cheap purchase I was able to get a laugh from an entire breakroom of bored government employees, terrify a few cats, and have five random people at Wal-Mart come up to me for a selfie. It was good for one Halloween party, and with cold winds it works as an excellent chin-warmer. I don't recommend tying it to the hat, it's better to just loop it around the ears and do a light knot.

Good quality and warm! The button on the inside is used to affix the beard to the hat. The beard has a designated loop of fabric used to latch to the button. It isn't reinforced, so I'll expect that to wear out if you constantly take the beard on/off. Additionally, the button pushes against your head a bit. It looks good and is sure to be a hit!

Material is strong! Great for a gift or personal use. Fits great and is soft. Material hold up well and keeps you warm in the winter. The material is high quality and durable.

My 6 yr old was participating in an alphabet parade with his school. He was representing the letter “G” so I decided to make him a super Grover 2.0 costume. Initially I was going to crochet a hat myself but when I saw this on prime & at such a great price I thought what do I have to lose?!? I’m so happy I ordered it too bc it looked nice & made the costume. Now we will probably wear it as a fun winter toboggan too. Highly recommend, super cute, great quality & the price is right!!! I would’ve spent this much on just the supplies if I crocheted my own.

Bought this hat for my son who is obsessed with Vikings. Was disappointed that it did not come as one piece. The hat and beard are two separate pieces. The hat seemed well made, but the beard was very thin and flimsy. Also did not like how the beard had to be tied on.

this is s totally awesome hat. I wear it when i go skiing and i get a lot of compliments on it. 'I love your hair they say'. Also its fairly warm, on the coldest das I need a thin head sock under it, i never wear the beard, just the hat. it's awesome

This knit cap/beard combo has been a hit ! It fits great and is every effective for this extremely cold weather we’ve been having ! I highly recommend !!

It looks great but design flaw if you wanted a winter hat from this note if its not -30 you're fine but it stretches where the wind hits the skin

Almost none of it is actually joined just the hat and a chain with yarn threaded through. It fell apart almost immediately.
