MOBOTRON UTSM02 Heavy-Duty Mount in-CAR Universal Tablet

Good design. Good execution. Good materials. Even good-looking. Solid, articulated armature that holds phone/iPad steady. Only the slightest vibration. Allows truly one-handed operation of device. It's not a suction cup that will fall off the windshield in cold weather. Does not occupy a cup holder. Joints never slip. Fasteners are the same quick-release mechanisms found on good bikes. Easy to change positions. Drawback: since it is designed to attach to the front left nut of the passenger seat, it may prevent the seat from moving forward fully. Possible drawback: may not mount on the front left nut of the passenger seat of your particular car. (Worked on mine: Nissan Xterra, Chrysler LeBaron.) In summary, it works. I've tried many others and I have never said that till now.

I am able to mount this table mount to push against my dash/glove compartment and it never wobbles or shakes. It’s perfect! I imagine for trucks, it will wobble a little bit when there is no surface to push the rig against. I suggest buying the support rod if that is the case. This is perfect for 12.9 iPad Pro. Got to take it out of the case though.

Excellent fit for my 2021 12.9” iPad Pro. I have it in my Peterbilt 579 it’s pretty stable and nicely adjustable there is a little wobble on bad roads, but completely an ok amount not a bad shake I can still read the screen. I use it for my Samsara e-log book and GPS with both Siri and CoPilot. I used the long fork mount that Isn’t an L but both this one and the L piece they give you could be a little thicker so you don’t get any spring action from them, I like the solid mount but my seat bolt is too massive for it. Perhaps a smooth car would be ok. But even with the fork mount it’s more stable than I thought it would be. I recommend if it’s not perfect it’s close and pretty good for the price and will fit anything from the larger IPhones/Androids to my 12.9” iPad. Though I think the 12.9” is about the limit of extension for the spring mount. It holds snug without crushing the device and hasn’t fallen out or slipped around. Overall I’m happy as it does the job I need it to do and even with a little wobble it doesn’t shake and hasn’t dropped my device, I can also “with some work” adjust the arm to anywhere I need it in my cab. It’s also nice that they give you three different adapters to fit whatever seat mount you might be trying to use. Though for all the weight (again I’ll mention) I wish it was a thicker metal

This is my 2nd one in my other vehicle. Both are easy to install and solidly built. Great price too.

Works ok but the hold downs are a bit either undersized on the bottom and oversized on the top. Not exactly happy with how this product worked with my HP

This product functions exactly as described and is extremely well-made.

After 5 months it just snap and my tablet smashed into my lunchbox. Looking at the break it seems that it's cheap pot metal and for the price I paid for it, It's definitely not worth it. However I have not contacted the seller or company and will be doing that right after this review. Once I've contacted them I'll update with how they handle this. **** UPDATE after contacting the company they sent me a new piece and I had it in 2 days!

It takes up a little space but when nothing else works, this thing is fantastic. I have a samsung z fold. There is not another phone holder for the car that I have found so far. Love it!
